The holiday accommodation is a semi-detached house with a fully fenced garden for exclusive use, making it ideal for a family holiday with a dog. The living and dining area leads directly onto the furnished terrace, where you can enjoy the sun all day long. There are several garden chairs, a garden table, two loungers and a parasol. You can also use the in-house charcoal kettle barbecue. There is also a sandpit on the lawn for children. You will find a sledge in the attached shed, which can be used on the nearby sledging hill. You also have your own outdoor car parking space, which is approx. 20 metres from the house. A free communal car park is located approx. 200 m away.
The holiday accommodation was built in solid construction with wooden panelling and has a living space of approx. 75 m², divided over two fully heated floors. On the ground floor there is an open and bright living and dining area with adjoining fully equipped kitchen, as well as a bathroom with shower, washbasin, hairdryer and toilet. The modern living area has a sofa bed (1.40 x 2.00 m), which can comfortably accommodate two additional guests. A wood-burning stove provides warmth and cosiness. A spiral staircase leads up to the upper floor, where there are two bedrooms, each with its own WC. The first bedroom has a double bed (1.80 x 2 m wide), while the second bedroom has a single bed (0.90 x 2 m wide) and a French bed (1.40 x 2 m wide). There is also a television in the second bedroom. The holiday home is family-friendly and offers a children's travel cot (0.60 x 1.20 m) and a children's high chair for free use, as well as a toilet attachment and a small step stool for the washbasin.
The village centre of Zandt is approx. 850 m away. There you will find a butcher's shop, a bakery, a small grocery shop, several Bavarian restaurants, a pizzeria, two hairdressers and a tourist information centre. In the immediate vicinity of the holiday complex you can go for lovely walks or take the dog for a walk. Maps of the numerous hiking and cycling trails in the Bavarian Forest, such as the Waldwipfelweg, are available from the local tourist information centre. The nearest larger towns with a wide range of shopping facilities are Bad Kötzting (approx. 13 km), Cham (approx. 12 km) and Miltach (approx. 5 km). In Bad Kötzing you can relax with a visit to the thermal baths. For families with children, we recommend a trip to the indoor playground in Cham and the Bavarian Forest Animal Park in Lohberg. Last but not least, the holiday home is a great base for a winter holiday near the ski areas of the Bavarian Forest. In the warmer months of the year, the winter sports region of Sankt Englmar with its summer toboggan run is a great attraction.
IMPORTANT: Please note that arrivals and departures on Sundays are only possible by prior arrangement! Our guests receive a small welcome gift from the landlord on arrival. Toilet rolls are also available in all toilets for the first few days. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the accommodation. Up to three dogs are welcome in your holiday home. The landlady is happy to provide dog bowls for the four-legged guests.
The deposit of €200 and any costs for your dogs must be paid separately before arrival, as it is not possible to pay in cash on site. The deposit will be offset against the additional costs incurred and transferred back to you within 7 working days.
