Welcome to our holiday home. The holiday home in the small, typically Bavarian village of Zandt, which is part of the holiday village complex, has approx. 70 square metres of living space, consisting of 2 separate bedrooms (1 double bed, 1.60 m wide and in the other bedroom 2 single beds, each 0.90 m wide). Each bedroom has a separate room with WC and washbasin. The bathroom with another WC and shower is located on the ground floor. The living area, which is equipped with a full HD flat-screen LCD 40" TV with digital satellite reception (a second TV is located on the upper floor), DVD, stereo system, WiFi and a couch, among other things, also offers the opportunity for cosy evenings by a wood-burning stove (new since 2024). You can obtain the necessary firewood from the property management. Next to the living area is the fitted kitchen, which is equipped with a cooker, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine, among other things. It is ideal for self-catering. The property management can provide you with bed linen and towels for an additional charge. The local hotel "Zum Bräu" offers good home-style cooking; there is also a pizzeria in Zandt.
The holiday complex is located on the outskirts of Zandt, surrounded by meadows, fields and forests in the "Upper Bavarian Forest" nature park. There are nature and leisure parks, fishing opportunities, canoe and boat hire and swimming lakes in the immediate vicinity. Other leisure activities such as horse riding, cycling, hiking, mountaineering, inline skating, skiing and snowboarding in the "Sankt Englmar" and "Arberregion" ski areas, as well as tennis and golf are possible. With the guest card, which you can obtain on request from the house manager on site, you can use buses and trains in the district of Cham free of charge. The card also entitles you to discounts at many leisure facilities. In the village itself you will find: grocery shop, butcher, bakery, restaurants, doctor, massage practice and hairdresser. Zandt is not far from the Czech border. Day trips to Prague, Pilsen, Karlsbad with Marienbad as well as to Passau, Regensburg, Munich, Nuremberg etc. are possible. The property (terrace and garden) is fenced. Arrival from 2.00 pm; departure by 9.30 am, or by arrangement with the house managers. Energy and rubbish costs are included in the rental price. It is expressly pointed out that the property of the guests is NOT covered by the existing household contents insurance.

Visits to the glass villages Weinfurtner and Joska, the Waldwipfelweg with nature trail, AQACUR bathing and wellness world, a summer toboggan run at the "Hohen Bogen" or in "St. Englmar", the "Churpfalzpark" in Traitsching-Loifling, the Bavarian Forest Animal Park in Lohberg or the Straubing Zoo offer a variety of possibilities in the vicinity.
Location description: Zandt was already the seat of a ministerial family in the 13th century. The village initially belonged to the Regensburg diocese, later it was part of the Electorate of Bavaria. During the 1972 territorial reform, the municipalities of Zandt, Harrling and Wolfersdorf, which were founded in 1818, and parts of the municipality of Grub were merged. The districts of Harrling and Wolfersdorf still belong to the municipality of Zandt today.
