Gorgeous setting INSIDE Yosemite National Park by the Merced River! Expansive outdoor deck overlooking the water with a rustic mountain cabin feel. Large open living area with vaulted ceilings, a wood burning stove, full kitchen, Wifi, HDTV, gas bbq, washer/dryer, and much more. Walk down to the river and enjoy the jumping rock and swimming hole or just relax and enjoy nature. The Wawona Hotel and Pine Tree Market are also nearby for dinner and groceries!

3 days in Yosemite

Out family loved staying in this cabin. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The kids loved the jumping rock just outside the cabin, and we loved having a grocery store within walking distance!

Great stay! Beautiful location

Loved our stay! It was perfect for our family and exactly what we were looking for. The views were beautiful, and the kids loved playing in the river (and jumping rock!) behind the house. It was the perfect thing to do after hiking during the day, that was both fun and low key. Kip was also very responsive and helpful with the communication. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing place. Perfect for traveling through the park, sitting out under the stars or listening to the river. Our family was very comfortable and Kip is easy to reach if needed. Highly recommend.

Amazing place!

We had a great stay. The place is amazing, so quaint, right on the river and less than an hour from the valley. It exceeded our expectations all the way around. Very relaxing! We had everything we needed for our extended family of five to cook meals in and relax. Great hikes nearby!

Redwood cottages in Yosemite

The cabin was neat and cozy and the kitchen was well equipped. We spent little time in the cabin because we preferred to be outdoors. It was wonderful going to sleep to the sound of the rushing river. Yosemite is an awesome park with amazing hikes and views.Kip was very responsive to questions we had.It takes about 40 minutes to get to the center of the park but itā€™s a much shorter time to Glacier point and Mariposa Grove.

Wawona/Yosemite Cabin

Beautiful location, peaceful, quiet and close to the South fork of the Merced River. Cabin was super nice and clean. The back deck was used a lot with a gorgeous view of the river. Everything went smooth with booking and check out.

Well equipped cabin

We were familiar with the area, and were fortunate to have great weather for March. Wawona is peaceful compared to Yosemite Valley. Since we knew that we brought all of own food along, otherwise itā€™s a distance to a restaurant. The kitchen is well equipped for food preparation. This is a lovely property for a family/friends gathering.

Dream of a cabin

What an incredible cabin in a spectacular location! This was the single most spotlessly clean VRBO property anyone in our party has ever stayed at. The amenities and location were perfect, though itā€™s worth noting that the village of Wawona is located inside the national park, meaning potential traffic backups in entering through the park gate. We arrived on a weekday evening, off-peak time, so sailed through quicklyā€”but we notice the line to enter the park (and thus Wawona), was 3/4 of a mile long when we were leaving. Thereā€™s a beautiful and rewarding hike to a waterfall three minutes away from the cabin, and definitely worth seeing, even if youā€™re staying here simply to access Yosemite Valley. The river which the cabin sits above makes a gentle rolling sound, and thereā€™s birdsong every morning from the towering cedars and pines nearby. We will definitely be staying here again if ever visiting Yosemite! The property owner was also extremely quick to respond to any questions we had.

Wawona Yosemite Visit

This property is ideally located with an amazing view of the river from the back deck. The local market store is a 3 minute walk and youā€™re right in the national park. We loved the wood burning stove which kept the house toasty. Everything you could need was there. This is a great place to relax and enjoy nature.

Awesome stay

Hello there, it was my first time at Yosemite. We did hit snow and cold weather but still got to enjoy the park and property well.A little bit about location, for future travellers We drove from Death Valley south to Yosemite and this location was closest to that entrance.Having said that it was not far from main part of Yosemite line lodge, curry village etc so like 50 minutes drive. It wonā€™t have been an issue till we hit snow storm and driving became incredulously difficult but we made it.The property is close to glacier point and few viewpoint around it but it was closed in March, so just be cognizant of that.Overall we enjoyed and relaxed at our stay.Huge property w 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms, nice open living room, just fun to stay.

the property was great for the 3 adults we had traveling, clean, gorgeous views and good kitchen. The host is responsive and we had everything we needed. our only comment is the comfort of the couch. since our stay was in winter over xmas, we spent time indoors at night and the couch was not ideal for football and movie watching.

Magical Cabin
