Very clean and combortable
You should remember to take a screenshot when they give you the code of the doors because when you get there, there is no service and the messages of the app don't open. The water was White but they left lots of small water bottles. Everything very clean and combortable. Very nice fireplace and balcony. Appreciated a lot the snacks for breakfast.

That’s a great suggestion to take a screen shot of the entrance codes. Being at 6,000 feet of elevation, surrounded by mountains and forest, it is difficult to get cell coverage. Verizon is the only cell service that works in our community. Once you are inside, you’ll have the lodge internet service access and password. The water can come out cloudy (“white”) as our community has its own well. But let the glass sit for just a little bit and it clears up. It is fresh Sierra mountain water.

Fantastic
Beautiful place to stay, very clean, comfy bed, loved the balcony. The dvd library was a nice touch, and we really appreciated the snacks and coffee/tea setup. 10/10 would stay again!

Perfect Weekend Spot
This was the perfect spot for 2 people to spend the weekend! The lodge was quaint and quiet, which is just what we were looking for after a long day in the park. We had everything we needed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We’ve already talked about coming back!

So glad you enjoyed your stay Courtney. You are welcome to return to stay with us again! Yes, there is such an advantage to being outside of Yosemite Valley but still being inside the gates of the national park. The Yosemite West community is calm and quiet - a great place to unwind after a full day of adventuring.

One Weekend: One Great Experience.
First of all, I would recommend to anyone to book at Peregrine Lodge from the informative and speedy responses from Vonnie. Any questions I had were responded to within an hour or two from sending. The lodge itself has many pluses as well! The pass-code to enter the main lodge and then my private room made things seamless after arriving late in the day after exploring Yosemite Valley. The room was very cozy with just the essential amenities. everything was clean and ready for us. Most importantly the bed was comfy and the balcony view was perfect to sit back and sip a beer after hiking all day. The proximity to Badger Pass ski area and Yosemite Valley while maintaining a quiet neighborhood (We stayed in winter time so i dont know what summer is like)made this the perfect location to stay in Yosemite while avoiding the high prices and crazy busyness of the actual Valley.

Eric, thanks for your wonderful 5 star review. I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay in Yosemite and at the Peregrine Lodge. It is so much quieter to stay up in Yosemite West versus the Valley - and this is true even in the busy summer season. So many guests appreciate getting out of the crowds, noise and camp fire smoke that happens in the Valley and get away to the calm, quiet and peaceful atmosphere of the lodge. You are always welcome back!

Nice stay in Yosemite NP
The location of this property was very convenient for spending a few days in the national park. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The view from the deck and the wood fireplace in the room were a great bonus.

A great experience.
My girlfriend and I only stayed 2 nights at Peregrine in the lodge pole room, but I wish we had time to stay longer. It was a wonderful experience and Vonnie is super helpful and responsive. The room is cozy with a real cabin feel with tasteful NWestern touches and the the fireplace was amazing, we took full advantage of it. A very comfortable room to stay in with a big bed. Yosemite west is a short beautiful drive to the Yosemite valley down along Wawona Rd, where you’ll pass the famous lookout below Yosemite tunnel where you can see the most incredible vista on your way down to or on your way home from the valley - naturally sunset and sunrise are amazing times to stop at this lookout. Would love to stay again one day.

Great Yosemite Getaway
Loved staying here for the weekend. Cute room in an amazing location. Check-in/Check-out was super easy and hosts were very responsive and helpful. Will definitely be back :)

Couldn’t have been better.
We were very lucky to have found Peregrine lodge and had the chance to stay there on our travels around the West Coast. Our only complaint was that we weren’t able to stay longer. Vonnie was a lovely and helpful host and if we get the chance to come back to Yosemite we will definitely try and book there again.

Perfect little getaway!
We stayed in the lodgepole room and it was exactly as described, perfectly cozy and the most amazing water pressure in the shower. The location of the lodge is perfect, inside the park gates and about 20 min to the valley floor. Vonnie is the greatest host! She was so warm and inviting, the lodge does end up feeling like your home away from home. We will definitely be back!

It's true, having the lodge located within the gates of Yosemite National Park and only 20 minutes from the valley floor makes it ideal for seeing all of the sites. And then being able to escape the crowds of the valley to our quiet community is such a bonus. Please come back any time!

It was a good location, between two areas of the park we wanted to visit. It was pleasant, clean, and everything worked. The first night, we had people in the room next door with a loud tv up late, but it was quiet otherwise.

Highly recommend this lovely cabin
A beautiful place to relax with stunning views and stars on a night. It is so clean and cosy I felt at home straight away. There are dvd’s to borrow. I can recommend the ones on Yosemite. David is an excellent host and has lots of helpful info on the park and upto date weather info before my arrival which he emailed me. This was great as the route I was planning to arrive on had closed due to a mud slide. The location is outstanding as the 30+ minute journey in to the valley is just stunning and different each time you drive it depending on the sky, sunlight, cloud and snow etc. I could have stayed at the majestic hotel but then I’d have missed getting the perspective of descending 2000ft and seeing tunnel view each day. I went to the Majestic hotel for meals which were wonderful but I’m so glad I didn’t stay there.

Exceptional location and beautiful cosy room offering a taste of luxury in the middle of the nature
At the heart of a beautiful environment, the peregrine lodge meets all your needs. The location looks secret as in a dream. The huge window offers you a spectacular view on the Yosemite forest. After an endless contemplation, the night sky full of stars makes you feel dreaming. In the king bed size you will get your battery full of energy for the wonderful hikes that are waiting for you.
