Joyce's book, Swimming Holes of California for descriptions and directions too often private swimming holes, some within only a 15-minute hike and/or boulder scramble. At home, enjoy our 6 people hot tub, air conditioning, wrap-around deck, and large outdoor gas barbeque, while listening to nearby cascading waterfalls (winter, spring, early summer). There is plenty of room for kids to run and play on park property right off your deck where deer, fawns, and squirrels are frequently seen. Watch for the less commonly seen coyotes, woodpeckers, or blue herons by the house or just a few minutes walk to the creek or river. Go exploring!


The loft with a Queen-sized bed is over the kitchen with views out of the many windows as well as overlooking views of the living and dining rooms. There is also a bedroom with two twin beds, a washer and dryer, and a half bath upstairs.

The master bedroom has a Cal King bed and is downstairs along with a bathroom with a shower.


Other Amenities: Enjoy the picture windows that perfectly frame the evergreen forest. This beautiful home is actually inside Yosemite National Park just miles from a Wilderness Trailhead, just a few hundred yards from a peaceful creek and wild and scenic river with many informal trails.
