The Upper Cascades couldn't have been a better location or space for starting the new year with friends and family. The kitchen is better stocked than many VRBOs we've stayed in. I also loved that we all fit around the dining room table for meals together. The pool table was a big hit too.…

Stay here and you will not regret it!…

This house was the perfect place to stay for our Yosemite Elopement. Especially during COVID. We were 4 couples staying in the house. Each couple had their own bathroom, and there was more than enough space for everyone. The house was nicely stocked with toiletries, towels, and plenty of cookware. The BBQ and firepit area are perfect for relaxing outside. The bar/pool room was a nice addition as well. Michelle was very responsive whenever we needed anything. Hope we can come back to celebrate our anniversary one year!…This house was the perfect place to stay for our Yosemite Elopement. Especially during COVID. We were 4 couples staying in the house. Best VRBO I Have Stayed In! Period!…

Rented Oct 26 - Oct 30 2019: Top 1% of VRBOs. I have come to expect most VRBOs I stay in, even the good ones, to be somewhat tired in appearance when I arrive along with some minor damage of furniture or appliances. This was by far the exception!!! The property was immaculate and the owner, who happened to be in the neighborhood during our stay, was extremely kind and accommodating. We arrived about 2 hours early and ran into the owner at the property and he allowed us to move in with no issues. There were two couples in our party and we rented the entire property, although It appears the lower floor could be rented separately as a one bedroom rental with its own full kitchen. The thoughtfulness that went into preparing this property for VRBO was impressive. The kitchen had everything and the dishes and silverware all matched and appeared to be new. There were guides that gave exact recommendations of things to do in and around Yosemite. Obviously the owner thought as a renter and prepared appropriately. This property sits almost exactly half-way in between Yosemite Valley and the South entrance to the park if coming from Fresno. It was an ideal location. The power was cutoff to Yosemite (including Yosemite West where this VRBO is located) most of our stay as this was during the fires that occurred in and around San Francisco Fall 2019. Not to worry, the property had its own generator that ran everything without skipping a beat. Very unexpected. Donald, thank you for making our stay so memorable. If I was to make one recommendation, the mattress on the second floor could have been a little softer. I am sure it was too soft for someone else.…Rented Oct 26 - Oct 30 2019: Top 1% of VRBOs. Fantastic Stay…

This is the second time I've stayed here and our experience was even better. Last year we came in April and Glacier Point was not yet open, so we stuck to visiting Yosemite Valley. The property is an easy 15/20 minute drive to Yosemite Valley and has all of the amenities you can ask for. It feels good to be able to pick up some steaks and wine and grilled on the beautiful balcony while watching the sunset after a long day of hiking. This year was even better because Glacier Point road was open and only a 20/25 minute drive from the property as well. It was so nice to spend a day hiking in the Valley, take a rest at the property and re-charge, and then head to Glacier Point or Tact Point (which we loved) and watch the sunset over El Cap. If you want a quiet getaway with your partner you cannot find a better place in Yosemite.…This is the second time I've stayed here and our experience was even better.
