"Beautiful hotel in the centre of Leeds, shops, bars and restaurants all close by. Staff were friendly and helpful, in particular Dean and his colleague on reception when we checked in as they recommended 2 amazing restaurants. Dean was fantastic and always warm and friendly whenever you saw him. Loved this hotel and would happily go back. "

"Hotel and location great. Toilet blocked in the morning and we told reception when we went to breakfast but still wasn’t fixed when we came back an hour later. Had to call again and insist someone comes to sort out it as there isn’t a toilet brush in the room, finally someone came but initially they said there were no maintenance people , it was 7:30 am when we first told them "

"My Husband I stayed at the Mercure Hotel for one night to go to a concert at the Utilita Stadium. the hotel staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. It was warm and room facilities were good. There was a kettle, tea bags (no biscuits) coffee, iron and board, hairdryer, shampoo and gel. It was quiet despite being at the back near some storage containers but no traffic or loading is mentioned in one other review. The outlook is onto a grass banking and...
