Stroll and shop through the historic village of Yarragon, or pack a picnic for sunset at the viewing deck, Loggers Lookout. You can also opt to stay in and enjoy a farmhouse-style meal prepared for you. Perfectly positioned, The Ridge House places you within an hour of both Mt Baw Baw’s snowfields and the beaches of Inverloch, making it an ideal base to visit Gippsland and explore its natural beauty.

WELCOME TO YOUR GIPPSLAND COUNTRY HOME
We spent a year lovingly renovating The Ridge House, preserving its original grace and charm while enhancing it for modern comfort. The home now features two new bathrooms, a fully updated kitchen, new flooring, air conditioning and heating throughout, plus all-new beds and premium bedding. Fast, complimentary WiFi also makes it easy to work remotely, if needed.

WE PROVIDE:
• Breakfast Provisions - Gippsland Jersey milk and butter, local sourdough bread, homemade jam, honey from our hives, eggs to get your first morning started
• Linen & towels. Additional charges apply for beds used for infants; no charge for infants (under 2) using portacots
• Firewood
• Plunger coffee, Nespresso machine coffee pods, black, and herbal tea bags
• Hot chocolate and marshmallows
• Pantry basics (olive oil, sugar, salt and pepper, foil, baking paper & glad wrap)
• Fully equipped kitchen (cast-iron dutch oven, cake pans, mixing bowls and ample glass and dinnerware. Feel free to bake up a storm)
• Picnic basket and rug
• Board games and playing cards, giant Jenga, and quoits
• Outdoor dining table, chairs, umbrella, and gas Weber BBQ

BEDROOMS
The Ridge House has been thoughtfully designed to suit groups of all sizes. Whether you’re a couple seeking a cosy retreat or a group of up to eight, the space adapts beautifully to your stay. It’s especially popular for friends’ or girls’ weekends away, where each guest can enjoy the comfort of their own private bedroom.

We’re also happy to convert the twin room into a queen bed on request, at no additional cost.

For smaller bookings, unused bedrooms will be locked. When confirming your reservation, simply let us know how many bedrooms you’d like prepared for your stay.
