"Very Kind staff and beautiful hotel"

"Free bicycles was good as you can go downtown in 10 mins or just visit the villages around the river, there is an excellent restaurant just 3 mins away along the river. The part of town near the hotel is nicer than the touristy west street. There is a construction about 300 m opposite to the hotel which affects the view negatively and a lot of trucks pass by the hotel at the moment but I guess after 2-3 month it will be a better situation. Restaurant in hotel has surprisingly perfect western...

"One of the best experiences I had in China. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely immersed in the local culture. The atmosphere is authentic, warm, and gives you a real sense of the Chinese spirit. What made the experience even more memorable was the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind, attentive, and always happy to help. Being able to communicate easily in fluent English made everything effortless. The restaurant is another highlight. The menu offers an excellent variety of both Chinese...

It reeked, was coated in dust, and was visibly filthy — I found a NAIL lying on the floor, and I have photos taken that same day. That is not bad housekeeping, that is a safety hazard. Management's response was hostility and intimidation. No apology, no accountability — the only offer was shuffling me into another room. I walked out the same day and found somewhere else to stay. Then the owner told...

"The room was a good size for the price and was decently clean. Cleaning staff maintained the room and brought water everyday. The staff and owners were very kind, going above and beyond in order to make the trip memorable. They helped book many of my tickets and were even able to offer some discounts on certain tickets! No matter what you need if you ask them they will do all they can to accommodate and help you on your trip"
