"Set on a working farm in beautiful countryside with far reaching views. The property was lovely & clean & contained everything needed for a relaxing stay. "Without doubt - the most idyllic place with stunning views I’ve ever experienced. A return visit is definitely on the cards. The lodge is beautiful and pristine and the beds are unbelievably comfortable. Just sitting in the living area with the folding patio doors wide open, looking out onto Catbells is simply bliss. I can’t rate this place enough. 5 star rating for definite."

"We have had several visits to Appletree. It is a brilliant venue for family/group get togethers. It is very comfortable and very well equipped, always immaculate. The new garden chairs are extremely comfortable and the garden parasol was an essential for our wall to wall sunny week - incredibly, not a drop of rain all week! We would always return here ..... when available.A word about the staff at Keswick Cottages, they are great to deal with as we have found over the years, nothing is too much...

"CHERRY GARTH WAS BEAUTIFUL AS IS KESWICK BUT LACKED WRITTEN INFORMATION ON VARIOUS THINGS, I.E. THE MAIN ISSUE WAS THE HEATING WHICH EITHER WAS BOUNCING OFF THE WALLS OR NOT ON AT ALL. THERE WAS NO BOOKLET AND I HAD TO RING THE AGENCY A FEW TIMES. THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL THOUGH. SECONDLY ANOTHER ISSUE WAS USING THE OVEN, WHICH WE WANTED TO USE AS A GRILL, FOUR OF US SPENT HALF AN HOUR TRYING TO FIND OUT HOW TO USE IT AND IN THE END WE CHANGED OUR PLANS ABOUT WHAT WE WERE EATING.
