"The property was in a lovely quiet position but did feel the shop should have been open whilst people were on site because of its location. When we arrived the sofa still had some sand on, there are cobwebs in bedroom windows and some kitchen utensils were not too clean. We really enjoyed our stay and felt totally relaxed whilst there. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seahorses! The steps leading up to the property definitely kept us fit, however we knew about this before booking and the owner kindly left us a bottle of prosecco in the fridge to help us recover, which was a lovely little touch! The property was immaculate and modern, and the balcony and views looking out over the sea were absolutely amazing! James was very good at communicating before our stay and we will definitely be returning in the future.... A wonderful...

"On the last day when electricity power off we were unable to do anything. We all were in deep thinking. When I was searching everywhere how to switch on the power found that electricity power will be on if we insert a £1 Coin. That made me surprised which I never see. However the holiday house was very nice and the area too."

"We enjoyed staying at 5 Shadycombe cottage. Owner sent lots of useful information by email shortly before stay. The cottage was compact, clean and well equipped. The bathrooms were a little compact. The cottage location and proximity to Salcombe allowed us to walk into town. "A lovely property in a lovely location. In the countryside but a short drive to all of the local attractions. Stayed for a long weekend and would definitely return. The garden gets good sunshine and is mostly fake grass so doesn't get muddy if it rains. The cottage was clean and well equipped. The walk in shower cubicle is in a small ensuite but there's an over bath shower in the bigger main bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped and there were tea bags and coffee pods already there for us."
