Hotel has a lot of potential. Just needs a bit of money spending on it to update rundown and outdated areas. Staff friendly enough and nice breakfast.

The Lion Hotel Shrewsbury
Staff were friendly, its in a good place, bedrooms were clean, but overall it's very rundown. Threadbare carpets, musty smell in corridors ETC. But this reflected in price. No breakfast option, but Cafe on the cop over road was a good place to go.

Albrighton Hall Hotel and Spa, a member of Radisson Individuals
The hotel was as always clean and tidy with very polite and helpful staff. The only problem was with the swimming pool and spa area . The cabin is situated in the most beautiful and peaceful area. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the cabin really let it down. We bought a full shop on the way to check in, but we couldn’t use the oven as all the numbers had worn off around the dials. A lot of food and money wasted, which is frustrating ...

Glan yr Afon Un - Relax, Recuperate, Enjoy
Host was great, answered all my questions and even gave us a bottle of prosecco for my girlfriends 21st, if your looking for a short trip away somewhere new, I would recommend!

Cottage at Vennington, near Shrewsbury
Had a wonderful stay in the cottage. Underfloor heating was fantastic and the beds were very comfortable. Rosemary was very welcoming and left us a beautiful lemon cake in the kitchen. Don't think I've seen so many excellent reviews on any property and they are all well deserved.
