"This place exceeded our expectations. The cottage is spacious and cosy at the same time. Beautifully decorated and very private. Everything in the cottage looks brand new, even though they have been in the business for a few years, but more importantly, the private garden was perfect for our dog (labrador)! The host, Sue, was lovely and very helpful. The area is lovely to explore and there is a farm just down the road where you can buy local produce. Definitely will come back again!"

"The property was beautifully decorated and Danielle was great with her communications, directions were very helpful. I stayed as a base for the Hay festival and enjoyed the peace and quiet. It had a lovely outside area and comfy bed. Everything you might need was provided and the hosts were on hand but not intrusive. "

"We loved our stay at Merryview, the location is stunningly beautiful! The bungalow was warm and inviting, everything was lovely and clean and the beds were very comfy. "We really enjoyed our stay at Jackdaw cottage, the garden was particularly good for the dog, and there are good walks nearby. However, we did have to create a bit of a barrier for a space in the fence as our dog could jump up the wall by the gate. Would overall recommend for dog owners."

"Cottage was in a beautiful setting, peaceful and rural. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Hot tub was perfect. Beds were ridiculously comfy and with the peace and quiet we slept like logs! Tracey the owner was friendly and welcoming and gave us lots of helpful information about the area. And we even had a fabulous welcome from Bella the puppy! We will definitely come back and recommend it to others."
