Can't say enough good about the experience
Susan was incredibly responsive and helpful. The property had everything we needed and more, to be cozy, entertained, and cook and bake to our heart's content. The attention to detail is evidenced in the delightful and well-thought out decor. Highly recommend!

Great guys weekend

Beautiful cabin!
This cabin is absolutely beautiful and cozy! My family and I loved staying here. It felt like a home away from home. From the large backyard with firepit and many chairs around it, as well as the nice water view, to the large cozy couch and open concept kitchen, dining and livingroom. The bedrooms were all good sized with comfortable beds and wonderful cabin decor! Any and all questions I had, were promptly and courteously answered by the owners. We hope to be back in the near future.

Home Away From Home
This is our 2nd stay at the Hearn’s lake house. It’s comfortable, spacious, and well equipped. The Hearns respond quickly to any questions or needs. We hope to return next year.

Weekend getaway

Lakeside Vacation
This cozy cabin was one of the best properties we’ve rented. The photos don’t do it justice. The furnishings are comfortable and clean, the kitchen has everything you need for cooking, and the lake view is beautiful. We loved having kayaks, canoe, and life vests at our disposal. The lake, beach, and pool are perfect for families with both young and older children. We can’t wait to go back next year!

Peace and Quiet
This was a nice property for me. It had kayaks available for our use. The pond is small enough for you to paddle over to the beach. The host Susan replied to all of my messages almost immediately. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect mountain lake getaway
We loved our stay at Susan and Rich’s cabin! It was our second time staying here and our experience was even better after knowing the area and all the activities to do. We went to lost River, hobo railroad, Clark’s trading post, and swam at big eddy several times. It has truly become our happy place.

Great family spot
This is a great vacation home. Very comfortable and clean, with owners who are super responsive. The ACs and WIFI worked great, although we got no Verizon cell phone reception, given the mountains. My boys caught a lot of fish - mostly right off the two docks. We played Scrabble and Sorry, swam, kayaked and canoed, and enjoyed the firepit. A few notes: The house next door is pretty close. The pool wasn't open yet, but I think they were having some issues with it that should be resolved soon. It was very small anyway but the two beaches were totally fine. Finally, while it felt remote a grocery store and Walmart were 15 minutes away and North Woodstock and Lincoln were about 30 minutes for restaurants, a movie theater, and other shops.

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay! You were wonderful guests! Yes, unfortunately, there is an issue with the pump on the community pool. They are working to get it resolved. Luckily the lakes offer even better swimming :)

A fabulous quiet mountain oasis where quality family time can be enjoyed by all.
Check in & out was a breeze. The cabin had everything my family needed & much more. We loved the use if the kayaks. The weather was not the greatest our whole stay however the cabin is equipped with multiple forms of entertainment so we never felt we missed out. The bed are comfortable, the views are relaxing from the porch or inside and the cabin is decorated nicely. It felt like our own home away from home.

Relaxing Vacation
We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. We look forward to renting in the future. It was so quiet and peaceful. Property manager was very responsive to questions and even messaged to make sure we arrived ok and was able to get in the house.

Fantastic winter getaway!
We were looking for a cozy, remote cabin to rent in New Hampshire to accommodate family traveling from VT, NJ and RI. Northhaven cabin was the perfect fit and was exactly as advertised! Susan emailed us of the check-in process ahead of time and the cabin was well stocked with all the necessary comforts needed for a long weekend in the snowy north country! Thank you Susan for sharing your home with us and we would definitely rent Northhaven Cabin again!

Peaceful, Relaxing Stay
We had an absolutely wonderful, peaceful, relaxing time at North Haven. The cabin was clean, well stocked and tastefully decorated. There was so much we planned to do on our trip, but spent most of our time enjoying this gem of a property. We used the kayaks multiple times each day...just couldn't get enough of the peace and tranquility on the lake!! Nothing was overlooked to make our stay "just what we were looking for." Susan was very responsive and we thank her and Rich for sharing their wonderful "haven" with us. We look forward to visiting again!

Cabin on a lake
Cabin was well equipped in a beautiful setting. Kayaks, fire pit, internet were all great. Nice, quiet surroundings. The check out procedures, (the list of things they require you to do before leaving), seems a bit excessive. Very difficult to accomplish when you have an early flight. Couldn’t shower the morning we left because we had to have towels completely laundered before checkout.

Denise, I'm sorry you felt the check requirements were excessive. I do tell all renters up front what needs to be done. Removing food that you bring to the cabin and putting your trash in the bin are pretty standard from my experience. I also don't feel that asking used linens to be put in a hamper is too much to ask. We are trying to coordinate with our cleaner to wash towels. Unfortunately it wasn't in place for your stay. Hopefully, other than check out, you enjoyed your stay! Susan

A True Vacation
This was an amazing stay! Everything you could possible want, and more. Every little touch in the cabin was perfect. I packed way too much. This cabin had everything! Games, DVD's, all the necessary kitchen wares. So peaceful! We were all so content, other than grocery shopping we never left. The view was amazing and having immediate access to the water to fish and kayak was the best! This has been our favorite vacation! My kiddos are all asking to go back next summer. Susan was an amazing host. Had wonderful suggestions for the kids throughout the week and kept in touch regarding a power outage and heat advisory. I can't say enough about our stay at Northaven. THANK YOU!

Summer Vacation
We enjoyed our stay in Haverhill & the lake cabin. We got to get some kayaking in even though we had a rainy week. Our Grandson who is 8 loved learning how to kayak & he loved fishing and exploring for insects and amphibians, we also got to see a deer, woodchuck, squirrels & a bear gave the trash can a visit. The only problem we had was the oven took a long time to heat up and we had to cook on 500 just to get it to cook, otherwise we loved every second of our time and we hope to visit again! Just what we needed!
My family really enjoyed the cabin. Everything is provided. My kids loved the mountain lakes beach. We fished off the docks, we kayaked around the lake, and we loved just sitting outside taking in the scenery. Thank you Susan for sharing your lovely cabin!

Cozy cabin
My family and I spent a weekend here and had a wonderful time! The cabin is lovely, spotlessly clean and cozy. The yard is beautiful with views of the lake. We didn’t get a chance to use any of the boats but did enjoy toasting marshmallows at the fire pit. The cabin is perfect for kids, mine ages 4 and 6 keep asking when we can go back! There’s a grocery store and restaurants about a 10 min drive away if you need. And Susan was very helpful and always a quick responder! We are planning to come back another time!

Simply amazing - recommend and will be back!
Everything about this rental was lovely and exactly as described. Susan was excellent at communicating rapidly with us for all our questions and needs. The location is prime to get to many attractions in the White Mountains, Lincoln, Littleton, sugar hill, etc. while having a feeling of seclusion/getaway. We didn't get in the water, but looked lovely and would love to do so next time. The cabin was stocked with bath needs, kitchen needs (spices, all cooking utensils, even s'mores components!!), games and movies, really everything to feel at home away from home. Unfortunately we had a medical emergency and had to leave early, and Susan was wonderful checking in on us (and even refunded us the extra night! not at all expected, but very much appreciated). We have promised we will be back soon and will be recommending this property to friends and family who want to visit the area. Thanks Susan!!

Wonderful retreat during choatic times
We loved our week at Mountain Lakes. This house was perfect for my 80 yr old parents and my children. We spent a lot of time outdoors and on the back porch! We loved paddling and swimming for hours everyday!! This week away was perfect for our August 2020 escape. Thank you!

Relaxing, Fun vacation
This is our third year staying here. The house is beautiful and has a fantastic view of the lake. There were kayaks at the house to use and we had a great time with them on the lake. In the area are great things to do such as swim at Big Edy, visit the Brick store, Ice cream places to visit, and a short ride away in Woodstock we went to the cascading falls to swim and rent tubes for only $5. We rented kayaks one day in Campton to kayak the pemi. It was a 6 mile kayak trip, but all ages were in our group and a lot of fun.

Perfect
The teenage kids loved the house, the kayaks and fire pit! Place was clean and very comfortable. Just a beautiful peaceful place. Kids loved the log cabin and I loved the outdoor shower. Owner was super quick to respond. We loved it we will come back again for certain!

Mom's Weekend Getaway
The property was clean and provided everything you needed (and them some). The property owner was very responsive. The kayaks were a huge hit. We spent a lot of time on the lake. The weather was perfect! We would definitely like to return to this property.

Great Place
This was my first experience with VRBO. The place was great, loved having a washer/ dryer, great to have the kayak and canoe there. It is right by the water. The community beach and pool were great and close. Both with Lifeguards. The owner was always quick to respond to questions and very accommodating. The owner let us know about activities at the beach. Some of the locals told is about a waterfall to swim in , which my kids loved. Had A.C. Available as needed, wifi and even a Keurig. My kids want to go back next year ☺️.

Much better than expected, lots of fun!
I was to my surprise very happy we chose this place and location. Usually I am disappointed with the place we stay regardless of what the reviews say. We biked, swam, kayaked, hiked, played basketball, tennis, had camp fires and most importantly relaxed on our vacation. I brought way to much stuff as the camp had everything we needed for the week. We had a great time staying here. The house was beautiful and clean. It was wonderful being on the water and having access to extra kayaks and a canoe. We also spent a lot of time at the Mountain Lakes Beach. We were able to kayak to the beach if we didn't want to take a car.
