Old friends
We had a great time, and the space was great. The house is so spacious, and that was perfect for us. We would have liked a few more towels, a bit more soap and shampoo, and the grill didn't get hot enough to cook the steak we had brought. Overall a wonderful time. Thank you very much.

FANTASTIC IN EVERY WAY
this was one of the most comfortable, easy to navigate vacation homes we have ever had. we used the grill, kitchen had everything you need, the deep sinks made washing dishes easy, (there was a dishwasher. but we didn't use it), windows allowed a 180 degree view of the back yard and forest beyond, where we saw a family of deer. Everyone slept like babies on mattresses that were heavenly! Or was super available and responsive to questions. A hannaford super market is 2.3 miles away. Bread Alone is 1 mile away. all three bedrooms were private with one with access to the deck and one with access to a patio below the deck. A huge basement with a giant tv and u shaped couch for comfortable media viewing. plenty of natural light and unique luxurious decor. Beautiful wooden dining room table seating 8. open kitchen with counter seating. In the living room adjacent to the kitchen We enjoyed movies from Netflix on the compfy couches and easy chair. A good time was had by all!!!!!!

Woodstock Birthday weekend
Beautiful private property. House is huge, plenty of space for our gang to spread out and get some privacy if needed. Comfortable living room with window views of nature. Great communication home owner. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful Place
This rental was exactly as advertised, incredible rustic charm. The Owner was responsive, prompt, and accommodating - a delight to work with. A short drive to town, and a quick walk to the Levon Helm Studios. Our stay could not have been better - even the weather was great!

Beautiful get away
Stayed with family and friends. Loved the large open design of the house. Also loved that the bedrooms all had their each bathroom it was like we all had a hotel room of our own. I would love to come back in the summer. Our whole gang loved the house. Lastly the downstairs area is great if you are traveling with children.

Fantastic stay!
My friends and I had a wonderful visit. The property is lovely, and the house is large, beautifully appointed and comfortable. You can tell how much care and thought went into designing the space. Both the owner and property manager were responsive and friendly, check in and out was easy. We'd definitely stay here again!! it was a delightful stay.

Excellent location
A very spacious and tidy home with all the amenities you could ask for and more. Check in process was very easy. The location is half a mile away from the main Woodstock town strip full of shops, restaurants, bars etc. Would definitely book again!

The house is expansive and in a beautiful location. There were a couple of issues but the owner communicated well and problems were resolved. A few things could be updated but we did enjoy our time there.

Perfect for. Family or Group
This beautiful, very private and secluded property and two story home with an antique lodge style feel was very relaxing. Laid back, well accommodated and well stocked and only a couple of minutes from downtown Woodstock. We had a wonderful time. Our host Or was very accommodating and truly cared our comfort was taken care of at all times. I heartily recommend this wonderful place. Great for a family or a group of friends. Especially those who love music or are musicians in their own right. We would stay again.

great long weekend
Our group of 6 women stayed for a long weekend for the Woodstock Film Festival. House is in a great location, has great amenities, super spacious. Very clean and well kept. Walkable to town, but still very remote feeling. Communication with owner was quick and efficient. Will definitely stay again!

Great Property for a Woodstock Get Away
Communication was quick and efficient. The owner was incredibly generous allowing us early check-in and late check out. The location of the property is 5 minutes by car to town. The house is set off the road so there is no noise and the view from the deck of the stars was spectacular. The house is spacious with a very large common room with multiple seating arrangements. The kitchen area has everything you would need if you plan on cooking. There are so many nearby great restaurant choices that we did not use the kitchen except for morning coffee. The owner also provided detailed instructions and suggestions for food, hikes, and the like. This is our 3rd time renting a house in Woodstock and we like this one the best for all the reasons above.

Great House
This was my family's second stay this summer, and it was awesome. We love the house (obviously) and the location is perfect for checking out Woodstock and the surrounding natural beauty. The hiking trails in the area are pretty incredible, including a number of very cool waterfalls. The house is secluded (in a good way), but in walking distance to the Woodstock business district. The house is very spacious and had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. We'll be back ... again!

Perfect Woodstock Getaway
Our family had a great time in this home. It is spacious and comfortable. The large windows bring nature indoors, and what beautiful views. The house is fully stocked with everything you need. The kitchen offers every tool to cook or make anything you want. The grill works really well for your outdoor meals. There is ample seating for meals and lounging. The house is equipped with air conditioners that cool the house effectively. The bedrooms are a nice size and bathrooms also. We loved this house. Close to everything, The town is really busy and interesting. Visit Opus 40 if you can - it’s an unbelievable park with an amazing sculptured landscape. The local watering hole is Lil Deep just minutes away and very refreshing. There are deer everywhere. We will definitely be back. The owner was so attentive and welcoming. Our vacation was perfect!

Spacious Country House near woodstock
Amazing house with comfortable layout perfect for families and couples looking to experience The Catskills and Woodstock. The Big Deep was cool too, kids loved it. Host was gracious and very accommodating. Would definitely go back.

Wonderful House
My family really enjoyed staying at this awesome house. It was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. A real bonus was the musical instruments that were available to play. Created a lot of family fun. The location was perfect. Many trails in the Catskills were in close proximity. The business district of Woodstock was also close. This is definitely a house we would rent again.

Woodstock Playhouse Visit
Our family visited Woodstock to see our son perform at the amazing Woodstock Playhouse. This property was PERFECT for our group. Super comfy beds, private full baths for every guest, wonderful common areas. The weather was mild so we took advantage of the patio with full dining table. This place was BETTER than the listing described. Location perfect for getting to town or a hike. A tremendous value for what they charge. The host was SUPER responsive. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. Will absolutely book again if we are back in the area.

Visit to Levon Helm Studios
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean, spacious, and very well maintained. It was very close to our main attraction, a concert at Levon Helm's barn. It is also very close to downtown Woodstock. I would definitely stay at this house again.

Ideal Location and Home
What a fabulous time we had in the spacious, welcoming home. Our family of four (two young adult children) had ample room to spread out, and also warm and welcoming spaces to gather. Super close to town, but with a remote and private feel. We explored Woodstock, spent a day skiing, visited the Roosevelt Presidential Library, and walked in the woods around the home. Everything from renting and check-in, through check-out, was super easy. Would happily stay here again, and could comfortably bring extended family / friends.

Everything about our stay was easy and felt just right. We walked in and instantly felt like it was our home-everything is comfortable, accessible. Beautiful giant plants and big couches-as a special request in February, the grill was ready and waiting for us. Having a piano to play was an added bonus. It's private and quiet and the setting is beautiful-we can't wait to go back!

RINGING IN THE NEW YEAR
We have stayed at this house several times. It accommodates our group well with great cooking and grilling facilities as well as plenty of space for us to spread out comfortably. We enjoy being able to walk into town or drive to great hiking. I have also stayed at this house twice for girls weekends.

what a gorgeous house
What a beautiful, spacious, comfortable house, just close enough to town to be convenient, and far enough away to be out in the countryside. Gorgeous views into the trees through large windows wrapping around three sides of the main space - a wonderful large open kitchen/living room space. This is a graceful and comfortable communal space, and the private quarters are also spacious and private. I can't wait to return another time.

Family Celebration
We are a small family living all across the state, but we had lots to celebrate this month: 6 years cancer free, 2 birthdays, and Thanksgiving. This was the only weekend that the 6 of us could get together, so we picked a fun town with beautiful surroundings to celebrate! We had beautiful fall weather, so we visited Opus 40, and of course spent time in town. The house was comfortably appointed, and we were greeted each day by 2 resident deer who live in the surrounding woods. Each couple had a lovely room with comfortable beds, and private en suite updated bathrooms with lovely amenities. The open concept living space gave us a spacious place to spend time together and cook a full thanksgiving dinner together. This is a great place to go if you just need to get away from it all; secluded, but close to the town of Woodstock or the city of Kingston.

Woodstock wonderland
Property was large and well equipped. 2nd bedroom had an unacceptable very hard mattress. The 7th sleeping arrangement was not described and turned out to be a blow-up bed or sofa. Great kitchen and eating arrangement. Lovely grounds and porch. Last minute notice for early entrance and late departures if desired!

lovely property near Woodstock
This is a large house with great shared space and three comfortable bedrooms, each with its own bath. The location just outside Woodstock is wonderful but you feel like you're in the woods because of the large yard, the fact that the house is set way back from the road, and the surrounding trees. Lots of long-tailed deer visited. It is clean and Or communicates very well.

Perfect Woodstock vacation
We had a wonderful extended summer stay at Or’s place—a perfect vacation house in an ideal Woodstock location. All of the rooms are big, bright, and comfortable, and offer a nice mix of places to be together and to have more privacy. And the location is amazing—you feel like you’re in the woods, though the house is a short drive or walk to town, and there’s spectacular hiking nearby, too. We hope to return and highly recommend it!

A Serene Retreat
A beautiful, spacious home, perfect for a stay with family and friends. It is very well situated, close to town and area attractions, yet remarkably quiet and secluded, with a lovely deck for relaxing in nature. The owner is very responsive and attentive. Looking forward to returning!

Wonderful spacious quiet house. Enjoyed looking at the stars at night from the large deck and nice dark yard! Great property for your family get together as long as people are very mobile as there are a fair number of stairs and steps.

Very roomy home for 6 people. We went out to eat one night and cooked dinner the next. Having a grill on the deck was a very nice treat(it was clean and large). Close to outdoor adventures for hikers and to woodstock town center. Would stay there again.

GREAT STAY
THE HOUSE WAS GREAT HAD EVERYTHING YOU COULD WANT AND MORE. LOCATION WAS LIKE BEING IN YOUR OWN LITTLE WORLD PEACEFUL AND QUIET. THE OWNERS TOOK INTEREST TEXTED ME TO MAKE SURE WE GOT THERE SAFE AND TO SEE IF EVERYTHING OK AND CHECKED IN TO MAKE SURE IF ALL WAS OK WOULD BOOK HOUSE AGAIN WITHOUT SECOND THOUGHT RECOMMEND IT HIGHLY

A Very Solid Woodstock Retreat

Amazing stay- the pictures don’t do it justice!
An amazing stay from start to finish. The property is even better than the pictures! The home is so well designed inside all of the furniture is incredibly comfortable and all of the spaces are so much larger than the pictures. It is an amazing property to hang out with a group of people. The sofas are really comfy and the kitchen is well designed for everyone to be hanging out around the island. The home itself was incredibly clean and the host was easy to communicate with very attentive with answering any questions and overall it was just an amazing experience. Pair this with the fact that this location Is just just a stones throw away from Main Street of Woodstock but is far enough away that you feel secluded and really get that nature experience. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back again!

Quiet, peaceful getaway with plenty of space to stretch out.
It’s our 3rd time there. We love it’s location and size. It’s very clean with plenty of space and bathrooms. Kitchen is awesome with bar and nice view of the woods. We saw deer and plenty of stars at night. It’s a wonderful find. :)

Beautiful & spacious house close to town!
The house was beautiful, very clean, spacious and private. There were three couples in our group and it was great for each couple to have their own bathroom! When we first arrived, we were happy to find that the house was even better than it appeared in the photos. There's a gourmet kitchen and the downstairs family room with the electric drum set and grand piano was great fun! It's a short distance to the town of Woodstock with restaurants, shops and pubs. We will return!

Perfect group getaway
The house (and all the rooms) are much bigger than they seem in pix. So there's plenty of room for a friends group or family without being on top of each other. Great, totally private property. Owner was delightful. Be aware, though, that while there's a wood stove pictured in the living room, it's off limits to guests (that's mentioned in the house rules but we missed the fine print)
