"Location was everything, but we were let down by a number of issues with the cottage, which caused us nothing but frustration. It was tired inside and not clean enough and exterior was unkempt. There were a number of things we noted and have passed onto the host, things we didn’t expect for the money we paid for a 3 nights stay."

For a house that sleeps 10-12 people this is absurd. - No dishwashing liquid - there was no way for us to wash large dishes, or the large wooden cutting board, how unhygienic. - There was no coffee and very minimal tea in the house despite coffee percolators. At the exorbitant price we paid per night to not have coffee in the house is plain rude and terrible service. "A beautiful spot on the river in Jamieson. We enjoyed the evenings in front of the fire, listening to the sound of the river flowing past at the bottom of the garden. The place is clean and equipped with all the amenities we needed, and the communication with Jess was easy. The pub is a short walk and there's a courtesy bus to the brewery. The river is fast flowing and easily accessed from the property, which was great for our group of adults, but not recommended for young kids. "

"Really enjoyed this place with the family. Close enough to some of the sights that made it quite easy to explore and do some day trips around the area. The wifi at the property can drop off on occasion but that didn't diminish the enjoyment of the property. Backyard with the BBQ grill got the job done and was great to watch the stars"
