"Booked this cabin to celebrate our anniversary. The cabin was beautiful and surroundings very peaceful. Just wish I was brave enough to get in the water! Enjoyed our time in downtown Jefferson too. "The cabin was very comfortable and well-furnished. Plenty of hot water and a good shower. The air conditioner worked particularly well. The location was just what we were looking for—on the banks of a slough that connected to Big Cypress Bayou. We were able to put in right by the cabin, but we weren’t bothered by the boat traffic out on the bayou. "

"Great Place!!!! The house was awesome, perfect for kids. Our kids didn’t want to even go out in the boats they wanted to stay and play at the house. A slide, jump platform, floats and a lily pad! They have plenty of room here for everyone and an extra cabin on the property that you can also rent out. They have multiple boat slips and tires on the post so you can get easily tie off other boats without worrying about them hitting the side. The host was very helpful and answered every question...

"Perfect for a weekend getaway! Just 15 miles from historic downtown Jefferson where we spent the days. Then back to the cabin on Lake of the Pines to watch the sunset on the porch of the cabin. So quiet the only noise was the birds at the water and the squirrels chattering and playing. "
