"Superior Double room was pretty good and spacious. Toilet seat (a replacement?) a little bit small for the pan😢 no semi skimmed milk sachets in the room, just full fat.
Breakfast staff very pleasant but provisions not topped up quickly enough, always felt like you were taking the last of everything. Not much choice generally, for example of fruit, no grapes or oranges for example. One type of yoghurt. Frozen berries and tinned mandarin a bit on the basic side. One hot drink machine not enough...

"Had a lovely one night stay in the beautifully decorated and accessorised accommodation. Bed very comfortable, every comfort you could wish for provided. Peaceful, provided breakfast in patio garden when we saw a deer slowly walk through front garden. What a treat! Recommended!"

"The staff were welcoming and accommodated a midnight check-in with no issues. The hotel is warm and inviting with modern amenities and well presented especially with origins from the 15th century!! Excellent friendly service and perfect location, right on a main shopping and dining thoroughfare also within a few mins walk to the train station. Highly recommend! "

"We stayed here due to a wedding at nearby Bruisyard. It was a lovely stay and I couldn’t fault it, a beautiful setting full of nature and a very well preserved property. Liz was very accommodating allowing us to drop our luggage and car off earlier than check in; we also came down to a very very nice breakfast with something for everyone. "

"Great Location.
Well Equipped.
Spacious.
Should be noted that the bedroom on the top floor has steep narrow stairs and not suitable for all.
Dust in places.
Was woken up by noise from the cafe underneath."

"Our room was very unique with its lovely 4 poster bed and lovely free standing bath .Lovely fire place and comfy old chair beside it in our room so cozy..We had a fabulous stay food was exquisite and service was lovely ..Cocktails were delicious. Spar was really special especially the outside garden jacuzzi s and sauna. We both feel rejuvenated.Thankyou for a lovely stay."

"A lovely stay in the accessible room. Had everything you could want. A delicious breakfast was served in the morning. Very helpful staff allowing us to pick up the key early as we were there for a wedding. Highly recommend The Grove House Hotel"
