"Very characterful room, staff were most welcoming and made a lovely fuss of our little dog , as well as giving him a sausage at breakfast time. Nice to have a bath too. Excellent value for money, will stay again."

"If you can, avoid room 011 (ground floor), not sure what is above but footsteps came through the ceiling late at night and again early morning which woke me. Told reception on leaving but just got a “sorry about that”. Some staff nice and friendly. Public areas OK but a bit tired in places. Free parking and a service station in walking distance. Overall did the job but not cheap. "

"Joules and her Son were absolutely wonderful hosts. We couldn’t have been made to feel any more welcome and we had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The breakfast was outstanding - lots of choice and super fresh and tasty. Joules’ baking was a great surprise treat, a lovely touch in our room on arrival and the Brownies later in our stay were out of this world! Our room was spotless, very comfy bed, lovely armchairs with the spectacular view over Ironbridge and the valley....

"Great concept. Few areas to improve. Loose handles on drawers. Dust in cups. Water in appliances. Bathroom bin not emptied leaving wonderment what else was missed. Shower would benefit from a more thorough clean with a brush. Shower hose grooves and areas within the shower holding mold. Bed ok but would benefit from a firmer mattress as they maintain shape better. Crisper cotton sheets. Although white they didn’t look the cleanest. Large mirror damage and cracked. "Really nice room close to the center. Parking right next door. Staff was very friendly and everything was spotless clean. Our room wasn’t big enough for our luggage, but I don’t know which room I booked and I didn’t mind. Great welcoming place."

"Lots of parking. The waitress at breakfast was great and couldn't do enough for me. I stayed 2 nights, 1st breakfast perfectly cooked, the 2nd breakfast not so great. Prices are about right The room was big, clean light and airy with good facilities. Definitely an above average establishment. I would definitely re visit."
