"Very relaxing stay. Modern house with all amenities. Owners were available and even reached out when the fire ban was set in place; we would not have known. Our stay was during a very hot week but we were never hot in the house. The house is very open at the back with large windows and patio doors providing a beautiful view of the river. The open design enables voices to carry to the second floor main bedroom and partly open loft bedroom so bring ear plugs. Also recommended are eye masks for...

"The apartment was in a perfect location to downtown and had all the amenities you could need. Host was great and communicated very quickly. Would definitely stay here again. "

"It was a delight to walk into the cottage and see the lake through the wall of windows. My daughter and I spent as much time as we could outside- sipping morning coffee in the Muskoka chairs on the new dock, reading in the shade of the black willows and enjoying the quiet of the lake. My son and his family came up for the afternoon and the kids loved the kayaks and the dinner on the outdoor deck. The A/C was a bonus as the heatwave continued throughout our stay. "Our stay at the JEMH Cottage was everything we wanted it to be. Our one daughter and son-in-law were with us and their three daughters ages 17, 8, 6 and our younger daughter and son-in-law and their 1year old daughter. They all said they had the “the best time ever. Everyone had comfortable beds to sleep in, even the 1 year old had a pack-n-play available for her. The cottage was very clean inside. We enjoyed the boat and kayaks. The little girls enjoyed fishing right off the dock. The weather...

"Beautiful views. Best dog vacation ever. Plenty of supplies. Great kayaking. There was a gnat problem every morning. They would cover sinks and counters. A quick cleaning and they’d be gone until next day. "

"This place is just a lot less glamorous than the listing would imply. We had 9 adults in our group but this cabin only sleeps 6 max. So we had to rent a second cabin for full price. The manager was helpful tho and answered our questions. "

"Basic cottage. We appreciated air conditioning and view. Exterior chairs where all broken, had to wash dishes, dirty floors. BBQ had no grill so took neighbors, was rusty and very dirty. Can not swim as mentioned. Only for fishing. There is a beach at a waking distance but not nice to swim in, small and weeds. Good place to fish if this is your intention. Fast response when communicating. Will ask you to sign a discharge right at the beginning which is not a good sign. Can’t get refund. Not as...
