READY FOR YOUR VISIT!..Relaxing Getaway with Scenic Beauty and lots of Wildlife

You are sure enjoy your stay at this clean 4 bedroom/ 2 and 1/2 bath home that we call "The Lakehouse". Located on beautiful Blue Lake where you may see wildlife everyday from: turkey, deer, geese, cranes, bald eagles and possibly a beaver :) Blue Lake is a conservatory lake (it is not a swimming lake)...Although, there is within five minute drive to Parker Lake where there is public access for swimming. We love to kayak on our Blue Lake and there are 3 kayaks available on the shore for your use to enjoy. The home is located just 20 minutes from Wisconsin Dells, one hour from Madison with many smaller towns and many lakes around us.
The home sits on BLUE LAKE and is across the street from beautiful JORDAN LAKE and THE LAKEHOUSE BAR AND GRILL.
Our area boasts of boating and over 20 fishing lakes, excellent hunting opportunities or grab your bicycle and explore the quiet country roads through our gently rolling farm lands. These are just a few activities whether you take in a day at WISCONSIN DELLS , HO CHUNK CASINO or take in any of the surrounding towns: Adams, Mauston, Portage, Westfield, Montello, Oxford, Baraboo know on your return to our "LAKEHOUSE", it will be very relaxing, secure and accommodating.

The home has 2300 sq. feet plus a two car garage for your use. It has two levels.

Two bedrooms up and two down and will sleep 7-9 comfortably !

Downstairs Bedroom: (1) Full size bed
Downstairs Bedroom: (1) twin bed
Downstairs Rec room (1) pull out hide-a-bed
Also available is (1) full size air mattress

Two full bathrooms upstairs and nice 1/2 bathroom downstairs for your convenience. It is fully furnished, heating and air and ready for you and your guests to visit and relax and vacation. It has a beautiful stone fireplace and a TV with comfortable seating for all. The lower level has a rec room which features a bar for you to entertain guests, TV and a walk-out patio and view of the Lake while relaxing. You can grill out on the patio then enjoy sitting out on the wrap around deck of the house overlooking Blue Lake. Or enjoy evenings around the fire pit making smores !

We had plenty of room to spead out. We were there with 4 people. The cabin could have slept 4 more easily. Kayaks were fun. Great fire pit. Close enough to the Dells to do the tourist stuff, but far enough away to have peace and quiet.

As always, we had a wonderful relaxing stay at Maggie’s place. The house is always clean and welcoming. Our favorite part is watching our kids fish while taking in the beautiful surroundings. Thanks for another great stay!

From the booking itself, Ms Maggie already made us feel comfortable, she is an amazing host, so easy to reach out and very considerate with the favor that I asked about. (I again thank you for the consideration Ms Maggie)The house is located by the lake and it is so quiet! and that is a plus for us. The house itself is perfect for us, big enough for my family and some friends to celebrate new year together, it has everything that you needed even offered some extra if in any case needed more.I would recommend this place if you would want a quiet place, very kind host and complete things inside home, just bring your personal stuffs and enjoy the rest of your holiday with your family and friends over wine, whiskey or beer by the firepit.

Fireplace is advertised but can't be used. Lots of cobwebs and a very dusty bookcase in disarray. Driveway covered in pine needles so passed up the driveway when we first arrived. Had to wash silverware organizer as it was very dirty. It's pretty close to town which is a plus!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house on the lake. It was peaceful, quiet and one of us enjoyed kayaking during our stay. There were five of us and there were enough bedrooms and bathrooms for all of us. We enjoyed the bookshelf full of games, cards and puzzles.

This lovely home nestled in the woods bordering Blue Lake is a bucolic retreat not to be missed. The home is well appointed and very comfortable with details considered so that we wanted for nothing. The abundance of opportunities to see wildlife added to the joy. We visited from London, England and were delighted to be immersed in rural Wisconsin life.

We had a great time during our stay! This place worked well for the 2 families with kids that stayed. We enjoyed just sitting out on the deck looking at the lake. There was enough seating for all 8 of us. There was an air mattress that we used for sleeping as well. This place is dated but the pictures represent it well.

This house tucked in the woods gave us the perfect getaway for me, two daughters and granddaughter. Just 15 minutes from the Dells, we were able to enjoy some of the attractions there, then return back to our "quiet place" for some R&R. The campfire pit and kayaks were a bonus that we enjoyed. Everything was available for a great weekend.

This was our 3rd year in a row staying at Maggie’s beautiful home on Blue Lake. The house is super clean and comfortable. We spent hours outside fishing and on the deck overlooking the beautiful lake and view. We can’t wait to be back next year!
