Weirdly, there was attention to detail in some areas. Beautiful setting, well maintained garden, great location. Such wasted potential from an uncaring host. "Paul and his mam are excellent hosts and made us most welcome. The welcome pack was huge and a lovely touch. The cottage is stunning and quiet. Everything you need is in there and our dog loved the garden. Amenities are within walking distance and the main roads are easily accessible too. We were blessed with good weather and came home wishing we had booked a fortnight."

"A lovely base for walking and visiting places around Cambs. Fishing is the main reason people stay here but also provides a nice quiet place to relax. There could be more protection from the invasion of insects. Perhaps fly shields on windows."

"Gina and Colin were very welcoming hosts. Lovely peace and quiet. Numerous birds in the grounds, tawny owl in the nearby tree at night and bats flying past. I visited four nature reserves in the vicinity, plus Boston town and Lincoln City. If you are lucky you might see a visiting badger."
