Peaceful, Cozy & Perfect!

Our little Cabin was the Perfect space for us. Amazing views all around us, nestled in the trees with a perfect view of the river. We enjoyed the chairs set up by the river to just sit, relax and enjoy the sound of the water rushing by. We loved waking up, making our coffee, sitting by the river as the sun came up. Can you get any more perfect than that? 2 very beautiful deer frequented our stay and stayed quite close to visit. It was nice that the kitchen, the shower and la toilette were separate from the main room of the cabin. The bed was very comfortable with lots of warm blankets to snuggle under. The wood stove was the final amazing touch giving it that authentic comforting smell of firewood burning.. We will definitely return here and stay again!

So Cozy

This is the second time we have stayed at this property, and we would be hard pressed to find a better location for all that we enjoy doing while in the Methow Valley! The cottage was clean, warm, and there were even flannel sheets on the bed! We had a marvelous time and have already reserved this place again! Thanks so much!

We absolutely love this cottage. We've stayed here before and we will be back. Great place for centralized snow shoe base camp. But more importantly, clean, cozy, and romantic. Fireplace is amazing. Hosts are responsive and accommodating. We will be back,,, yet again.

Great winter wonderland!

We stayed in the cottage and had an amazing weekend. Place was clean and cozy. Heaters worked great, but was also very romantic to start a fire in the wood stove each night and watch a movie on the mounted Roku TV. River was right out the window, and we saw deer eating around the cottage in the snow every morning. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend.

The premises was very nice for 1 person. 3 others stayed in the adjacent building the 1st night but were very quiet. The forested setting was perfect for relaxing after 3 days of strenuous hiking in North Cascades. Can't complain.

Winthrop Riverfront Cottage

This cottage is the perfect, private getaway near the North Cascades. The place is tastefully furnished and clean. Theres a private riverside seating area perfect for relaxation! Most comfortable beds we have slept in while traveling as well.

Little Cottage in the Pines

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage on Chewuch River. The cottage was perfect for my husband and I to relax and get out hiking each day. We enjoy the quiet sounds of the river/creek. The cottage was perfect for a quiet couples getaway.

Quiet and peaceful, and a bit cozy.

Nice location. The kitchen is pretty small- no oven except a microwave. The bed is a queen and comfortable if a bit small. The instruction booklet needs to be updated as the pages were falling out of the book and somewhat confusing. We did not use the fireplace but the heaters kept the cabin warm. There is a larger rental on the property. It was not occupied when we were there but could be an issue if it was a noisy , large group.

Just what it needed to be

It is perfect for two people who want to spend most of their vacation enjoying the great outdoors and what Winthrop has to offer. It is a little studio type addition on the back of the garage of a larger primary house that is also rented out. If cooking big gourmet meals while on vacation is your jam, you should probably look for a different place. The kitchen is tiny but serviceable -- half size fridge, minimal counter space. We enjoyed fine dining at Sun Mountain and Arrow Leaf with just a few simple meals at home so no complaints! The cozy wood stove was a necessity with below zero temps and all sorts of blankets and a comfy bed were there to warm up in after a day of snow shoeing. Wifi was nice as the day was dark and at an end by 4PM! Close in to town which was helpful in snowy and icy weather.

Peaceful valley

Very cute studio cabin on a wonderful river. Great appliances, shower, etc. our only problem was we are not good sleepers & needed 2 bedsšŸ˜Ø. I slept on hard couch with back cushions not removable so very narrow. We later learned there was a little bunk house with a bedšŸ™ƒ. Other than sleeping discomfort all was wonderful.

Sweet spot!

This was a perfect spot for two people on a cross country ski weekend. There is a kitchen to prepare meals, a cozy wood stove at the end of the day, and it was walking distance to downtown. We had a great time and would stay here again.
