"We really had the best time here. The house was cozy, had everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. We spent our weekend swimming in the lake, grilling, and enjoying great company by the fire. It was nice to walk over to the nearby restaurant for a quick bite to eat and a cocktail. The highlight of our weekend was fishing off the dock, we caught a variety of fish. We are already planning our next trip to come!"

"This is the second time we have stayed at this property. It has everything you could possibly need— for meal preparation, outdoor enjoyment and staying occupied indoors. The Pickleball court is fantastic! We rent a boat from the local marina and use the dock on the property. Elizabeth is an excellent communicator and rep replies quickly to messages. We will be back again next year!"

"This cabin is perfect for a small family or two couples. The location is perfect. There’s plenty of dock space. The screened-in porch overlooks a quiet bay. The cabin is just a few steps from the water. It was well-stocked and had everything we needed. I’d bring a fan along if staying during summer as the upstairs bedrooms were very warm on a hot summer night. We loved this place and hope to come back soon!"

"Such a nice little cabin to stay at on our annual fishing trip. Hosts were super nice and great with communication and accomodations. Donna was even nice enough to offer up her garage to store my boat when we had some rough storms coming through. Cabin is immaculate and such a joy to stay at. The screen porch is awesome! Real treat to come back to after a long day on the water. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Had a wonderful time on Sand Lake! I was initially disappointed that the lake access was across the road, but it was fine. The grandkids know never to cross a road without an adult, so it was a perfect barrier to the lake for them. The sand and shallow water went on forever and they absolutely loved being able to jump off the dock all the way to the end. "The host were amazing… Kept in communication the entire time, anything I needed that was not already here was brought to us immediately. I cannot thank them enough for going above and beyond for our family! The cabin itself is wonderful, and stocked up pretty good with indoor/outdoor games, books, kitchen utensils, etc. The canoe was super fun, although we definitely did not swim in the lake here… There was a lake recommended to us about three minutes away with a park/beach and great swimming...
The fishing is great! Trails are close by. Enjoy summer in the Northwoods!
