This vacation home rental in Winter Park has one of the best location and views available which is right in the middle of downtown Winter Park in the popular Hideaway Station neighborhood. The condos in this building are located on the second floor of the building and bedrooms within the condo are upstairs with a total of 2 flights of stairs including the stairs to reach the residences on the 2nd floor and the bedrooms upstairs within the condo. Walk right outside your door and enjoy fantastic mountain restaurants, shopping, night life, trail system for hiking and biking, and various scheduled events and concerts in the Town's new Hideaway Park amphitheater area. The Fireside Market is also next door for all of your grocery shopping. Winter Park Resort is only 5 minutes away and the FREE resort shuttle next to the building will drop you off right in the middle of the resort base village which includes the lifts for skiing/boarding/mountain biking, snow tubing, hiking, ice skating, shopping, dining, scheduled entertainment, and other attractions including several summer activities.

Loved the location and access to Winterpark! The property was comfortable for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Kitchen pans could use replacing and a basic toolbox would have made it perfect for doing what we needed for the week.Property manager was communicative. Would stay again.

Not good for a summer break

We stayed there as a family to relax in a small Colorado town. The apartment is nice and well appointed- although the photographs make it look larger than it actually is. It had everything that we could ask for except air conditioning. We knew that at the time of booking and were ok with it because the cool evenings, ostensibly, allows you to keep the windows open and keep the apartment cool. Unfortunately, the location of the apartment is such that keeping the windows open exposes you to a lot of road noise. 40 is quite busy. And then that dreaded goods train at 3am!! I am typically a very sound sleeper but couldn’t sleep through the noise here. That’s the biggest drawback of this property and knowing this, I wouldn’t stay there again. We had some questions on parking. We were informed prior to checkin that we had to park in a designated spot. Well .. there was no designated spot for this apartment. Took a few while but the call center person figured out that we could park anywhere we wanted. We did place another query to the property manager but did not hear back. Maybe because we checked out prior to them starting work. We were struggling to remember two security codes - one for the building and one for the apartment. As it turned out, the building security keypad didn’t work in anycase - anyone could walk in any time. Something that they should get fixed. They did send us an app for the apartment that opened the door and eliminated the need to remember codes. You get a lot of “free” stuff with the booking but as is typically the case, there is limited value in that (our opinion). The area is nice. Good hikes. Plenty of activities. Bottom line, however, if we were to go again, we will not stay here and definitely not at this price.

We had a great stay. We were a little frustrated at the cancellation policy in relation to covid (we had someone test positive & were not allowed to cancel), so just beware of that. Otherwise it was a great stay.
