Everyone has different standards of cleanliness & living conditions. PROS: Quiet neighborhood; comfortable A/C; Clean floors; Clean shower, toilet and sinks (bathroom sink was slow to drain); Host responds quickly; Motion sensor lights around outside of house; Cat friendly. CONS: Driveway is difficult for larger vehicle to get into due to no apron, narrow street and parked cars; House reeks of cigarette smoke; Vents and return vent dirty; Flooring has dips and humps; Flooring in 3rd bedroom has a soft spot which is concerning. Kitchen floor has annoying creaking sound; Washing machine has black mildew; Hood/light/fan over stove was DISGUSTING with tiny dead bugs stuck to light cover and dirty fan. Water heater in kitchen was dusty and had rubber mats hiding exposed wiring; Back deck has loose boards; Grass overgrown and unable to enjoy yard; Shower knobs Hot/Cold were reversed. Beds were not comfortable with dips and sags, lacking support. Listing states house sleeps 6, but there were only 3 forks and tableware for 4 people. Oven does not work properly! Our Easter ham did not get hot and we had to heat in microwave. Listing states house has blackout curtains in bedrooms, games/toys, hair dryer and blender, of which no such items were in house. This property was not to our standards.

The house had beautiful decor and high ceilings just as pictured. The chandelier was gorgeous. The owner responded in a timely manner.The first bedroom as well as the linens smelled like cigarette smoke and stale mens cologne.The third bedroom bed barely had any support and sank considerably. Fireplace blew the fuse when we tried to use it.Bathroom was extra small. We couldn't even extend our arms in the sink area. Bathtub knobs were dirty.Bathroom vent full of dirt. Bathroom shampoo/conditioner/soap dispenser empty & dirty.Kitchen oven was dirty.Stove vent was dirty.No extra trash bagsBackyard needs to be cut and trimmed.Some of the higher corners had cobweb.The ceiling fans blades were dusty and need to be cleaned.The neighborhood is questionable. I would not feel comfortable staying there alone. I would not stay at the location again.

We couldn't get the Tv:s in the last two rooms to work. The beds were not made up , I pulled the covers back to get into bed and the sheets were crumbled underneath. The bed was not properly made up. No towels or wash clothes and dispenser for the soap, shampoo and conditioner are emptyin the bathroom. There'sold in the washing machine. The hood over the stove is very nasty. Not please at all with the cleanseness of the house. I have photos. Place looks like it someone living there and do not look like any of the VRBO places that we stayed at

Small, older house in a quiet neighborhood, close to town. The beds were really comfortable. There was ample inside space, living room-dining room combination and three bedrooms. However, we had to buy bathroom towels as there were none provided. The listing didn't specify that towels were provided, but it didn't state they were not provided either. I am not a neat freak, but the house could have been cleaner. It was okay for our quick overnight.

The house was clean, newly remodeled and the neighborhood was fine. We did not have issues with any dogs. The back had a small deck and a nice sized yard however the yard was not maintained and the grass was very overgrown so was not able to enjoy the space. If you plan on making a meal while here make sure to bring your own kitchenware both to cook and to eat. There was one fork, a handful of spoons, knives, no bowls, a few plates and a pot. The host was not very responsive to messages but does provide phone number to call if anything urgent is needed. Overall a good stay - we would stay here again if in the area.

Our stay was excellent! The host was very courteous and helped out a lot. The house was very clean and the beds very comfortable. My family and I really enjoyed our trip and we would recommend this property to those who want a comfortable stay at a great price.

Bad stay

I recently stayed at this property, and I was deeply disappointed by the experience. The house was not properly cleaned, which made our stay uncomfortable from the start. The neighborhood, which I can only describe as being in the "ghetto," should have been disclosed in the listing for full transparency. Safety was also a significant concern, as there were no peepholes on either of the doors. This is a basic safety feature that should be standard in all homes. The cleanliness issues were pervasive. The bathroom was not properly cleaned, and we found old sponges with obvious mold and mildew in both the bathroom and kitchen. The sheets and comforters were stained, adding to the overall feeling of neglect. Additionally, the beds were extremely uncomfortable. I woke up with back pains every night, and my friend suffered an allergic reaction, breaking out in hives from sleeping in the bed. The situation was so intolerable that we decided to check out early, choosing to forgo our last night at the property. I cannot recommend this property to anyone and hope that the owner takes immediate steps to address these serious issues.

A comfortable little home with comfortable beds for those who may be in town for business. Folks in the neighborhood approached me on more than one occassion for a cigarette. Would not stay in this area alone.

Enjoyable stay

We had a very pleasant time. The host was very communicative and the beds were comfortable. Everything was clean, but the kitchen ware was pretty limited. There is a dog next door (very sweet!) and we didn't hear him bark at all during the night. We got very good sleep!

Neighborhood

The house was not in a good neighborhood. Major issues: Chained dog barked all night, the washing machine didn’t work, had to call to find the linens which were stored in a file cabinet in a bedroom, showed up during check in time and cleaning staff was still there, hardly any dishes on site so forget about cooking a meal there. Place was a disappointment at best, especially for the overall cost.
