"We had a great time during our visit. This place had the feel of a northern cabin, but was close to other activities. Was cozy inside and amenities were just right fir two. We enjoyed being able to wake up in the morning right on the lake. The sunsets were amazing and were basically outside the whole time. Family came for a cookout with the grill and we were able to fish and take the canoe out right from dock. Would absolutely stay again. Perfect time of year to enjoy the area."

"Wonderful all the way around. The owner is delightful and provided many personal touches to make our stay special. The property is immaculate and pleasant. We enjoyed spending time on the deck, dock, and boathouse deck. We look forward to coming back in the future."

"It was an ideal - and beautiful - place for two generations of women in our family to gather. Our group included several who came in from out-of-state for this joyous reunion. It was a perfect home and location with great views of the lake. "

The home was fully stocked with just what we needed, and included games and books which our kids loved! Elevated vintage is the perfect way to describe the home — it’s so warm and cozy. We loved the walkability to downtown Victoria for morning coffees, dinners, and ice cream. We will absolutely be back!"

"We had a weekend stay with 5 adults and 2 dogs and the space was great! Plenty of space for everyone and the outside space is perfect. Great access to the water for kayaking and paddle boarding. The sunrise views are lovely! The stay exceeded our expectations and we will be back again! Also to note, there is patio furniture (table and 8 chairs) on the upstairs deck and 2 chairs on the bottom patio that is not photographed. "

"A really beautiful home, wonderfully managed. Visiting our daughter at UMN and enjoying lake life. A bit of a drive from the University when we needed to go back and forth and weather wasn't cooperative but the house was perfect. We'd have preferred something on the larger lake not an access point for views but you got the feeling of lake life and photos are accurate. A great escape."

"We absolutely LOVE our stays at Swisher every summer! We had such a blast, everything was excellent. Thanks again, and see you next year!"

"We stayed five nights at Waters edge retreat with our daughter and her husband and their two children ages six and two. The accommodations were perfect! The cottage was recently updated and spotless! It had ample room for our group, including laundry. It was well stocked with dishes, pots, and pans, spices, extra paper, towel, etc. Dishes and pots and pans were all in beautiful condition! There is no zero entry into the lake, but it is very shallow near shore and we had no problem swimming there...

"Owner dropped and picked up and was very communicative and responsive. Camper was not the most clean and there was dog hair, but probably what you’d expect in a camper. "

"This home was easy find, lots of parking, great accessibility to unload stuff. It was clean and neat with lots of space. Communication with the host was great and the beds were very comfortable. Even had great water pressure in the shower! Seemed to have everything on hand we had forgotten and was easy to get in and out. Highly recommend! "

"What a gem of a place you have! We enjoyed the private location, the beautiful creek and the stunning willow tree on the property! It was still close enough to the baseball fields while we were in town for our son's state tournament and a stay in cabin beats a stay in a hotel any day! "
