Misled
We were on our yearly fishing trip with 6 guys and 3 fishing boats which we were up front about. We were assured the docks would be in place. When we arrived on Friday, the docks were not installed. We called and were told we could use the neighbors dock during rhe day but needed to trailer the boats over night. This would also be true when the rental docks were installed on Monday. The only place to park the trailers was at the county launch for $7 per boat per night. If we would have known this up front it would have been a deal breaker. What a pain this was! Worst trip we've ever had and this was our 54th annual fishing trip.

I got special permission from the neighbor so you can use her pier, I refunded you $100 and I assemble a crew to get the Ponf as soon as I could. I’m sorry you were disappointed. If you do come back I will give you a significant discount.

Great Lakehouse Stay
This property is beautiful and the listing is as described. The location on the lake is quiet and claming. The owners are easy to get a hold of if there are any issues. The check in and check out process is easy to complete. Would highly recommend booking this property to others.

Great Location, with Beautiful Views
The property is located a short drive from our destination, Winneconne. Perfect for our needs. The lake views were beautiful. There was a flock of ducks swimming just off shore. The property was clean and spacious. Plenty of room for us to move around. Easy check-in. Communication was great. Any questions we had were answered within a few minutes. Would definitely recommend this property for your stay.

Beautiful House by the Lake.
The check in process was super easy. Host give all the information needed to check in beforehand. Communication could have been better, we were having issues with the hottub, texted the house keeper and did not get a reply, then we did text the owner and he said he just filled it 2 days ago and said all the chemicals needed were in the cabinet. We've never done maintenance or anything on a hottube before so we were kind of at a dead end. When we got there we did question if the house was cleaned prior to our arrival because the couch and carpets had dog fur all over so we did have to vacuum ourselves. We were also confused on why there was a check list of things to do before we checked out (ex: load the dish washer, strip the beds and start a load of laundry if we have time, take out garbage) when we paid a cleaning fee. Bedframes squeak, I would suggest that the bunk beds be removed and two twins get put in instead. We did have a super fun weekend there though and the lake view is beautiful.

Girls' Weekend
Great place with plenty of room for everyone. Quick and helpful when we needed instructions on how to reignite the pilot light for the fireplace. This is my 3rd stay here and I'll be back again!

Girls’ weekend
Nice home. We had a good time. Enjoyed the hot tub and the fire place especially. Really my only negative comment is regarding the bunk bed mattresses. In my opinion they are not suitable for any adult. I tried the bottom, then the top, then ended up on the living room sofa. They may be fine for kids. Just keep it in mind if you have a group. The two other beds were reportedly just fine. Would recommend considering upgrading the 2 bunk mattresses. Thank you for letting us stay here.

Beautiful Lake Home
We were just on a quick getaway from home. It was relaxing. Spent time in the hot tub at night. Beautiful view of the lake. We would love to go back in summer.

Girls weekend getaway
It was the perfect place for our girls weekend. We went in the middle of a snow storm. Hosts were fantastic about responding. We had a great time. Can't wait to go back in the summer and enjoy the lake!

Quiet Escape
Had a lovely few days at this property. Enjoyed taking a dip in the hot tub. The fireplace in the living room was extra enjoyable due to the winter storms that moved through during our stay - looking out the front window with all the snow was like being in a snow globe.

Very nice
We enjoyed our weekend at this property. If you're planing on using the hot tub during the winter, know that it take approx. 9 hours to reach 104 degrees and cools to 97 in about 5-10 minutes while in use. So that wasn't a great experience. I did expect the beds to be made and laundry/towels to be finished when we arrived but that wasn't the case. The woman we were supposed to communicate didn't respond the entire weekend, however the owner did respond and attempt to help. Otherwise mostly clean and decent property.

Family get away on Lake Poygan
Very nice lake get away. Beautiful view from indoors and out of the lake. The fire place and xmas tree was so nice for a little December vacation. No ice so we did try some fishing off the shore, no fish but I caught that lonely branch. We enjoyed family time playing cards, putting together legos, reading and watching Monster Jams with our 5 year old. He loves Monster Jams. Great time.

Perfect girls’ trip
Absolutely everything worked out wonderfully during my stay at this lake house. The view was amazing, lots of amenities provided, communication was prompt and consistent with hosts, hot tub was perfect, clean all around, fire pit worked easy, highly recommend!

Beautiful views of the lake.
We stayed here to go to a Packer game. What a wonderful decision that was. Priced fair, gorgeous views of the lake, hot tub bonus. We will probably be back to do some fishing at some point. Side note, if you need to cook something on a cookie sheet... Bring one. Everything else we needed was there and felt very at home. Super easy check in, very quiet area.

Nice little getaway
My boyfriend and I spent the night to break up our travels for my birthday and it was the perfect spot! Very spacious and clean - we only needed the one bed but there are different sleeping arrangements which is nice! The hot tub has such a good view and is a relaxing way to both start and end your day. Highly recommend!!

The house is perfect for a family, and well equipped. The outdoor space needs attention and upkeep, as does the hot tub. Overall would still recommend this listing, particularly if you are into fishing and boating.

Quiet Getaway
This lake house is in a quiet and beautiful location. We had great weather the days we stayed and was able to enjoy ample time outside. The house is beautiful and it has what you need. The view if the lake from the master bedroom is gorgeous. We look forward to coming back soon!

Great location and amenities
The house and location worked well for our entire family as we all had to attend the same wedding in Winneconne. The kitchen worked well for food prep for the rehearsal dinner and satisfied all the children we had along to keep them busy. Great place to stay! Internet was the only drawback as the wifi was not the greatest at the time we stayed.

Beautiful scenery & home
The house was very clean & had plenty of space for our group of 7. The beds were comfortable & the view in the back yard could not have been beat. There is a stereo with a sound sysyem in the boat house to enjoy music while around the fire pit & plenty of room to play yard games. We would recommend staying at this property as Chris was very easy to work with & was responsive to questions we had. Bring firewood for evening fires down by the lake.

Good house for fishing.
We like to fish, have our own boat and this house is the perfect home for that having its own dock and close to the public launch. This was our second stay and we will be returning. House was neat and clean both times and owners always email me back when I have questions.

All in all a great spot for a family vacation. The home is clean and well kept; instructions/procedures are easy to follow. The home and property easily accommodated the six adults in our family. Easy access to Winneconne for any forgotten items. Fishing, swimming, evenings by the fire…restful & relaxing.

Christmas gift weekend getaway
We enjoyed the long weekend with family right on the lake. The neighbors were very helpful and friendly in letting us know where we could park/launch our boat. The property was very nice and accommodating - the one studio/office bedroom with the futon was a little disappointing in that the futon was much smaller than the pictures made it appear. We did have an issue with the coffee maker which was VERY slow in brewing coffee, the ice maker dispenser on the refrigerator did not wor, but the ice maker certainly did, and the t.v. in the master bedroom was not functional - it did not have a signal/source so we could not watch this t.v. We also had a little trouble with the Weber charcoal grill - appears it is not used very often at all and was a bit broken. The gas grill was useable, but the switch to light the grill did not work so we needed to use a match to light the gas grill. But overall, it was a great stay, very pretty sunsets, and being right on the water was wonderful!!!

Nice stay at Lake Poygan
Nice lakefront property, with plenty of room for large parties. Our kids enjoyed swimming off the pier, but the lake-bottom did cut two of our kids' toes, so I'd suggest water shoes. The boathouse had a magic carpet and inflatable kayak. Lake levels are quite low right now, so we were unable to use the boat hoist, as the hoist bumper's lowest position was still out-of-water. There is a public boat launch right down the road, so that was super convenient. Lake Poygan is a shallow lake, and water depth was about 2-3ft near shoreline, which kept us happy about the kids' safety, but may not be ideal for swimming/diving. The lake was great for tubing/water-skis. Our kids loved warming up in the hot tub after swimming in the lake. We enjoyed using the firepit at nights. ALOT of gnats near house lights, but I suppose that's common for hot summer nights at the lake. Owners were quick to respond. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful house and location. Inside of house furnished with everything you would need but does need a thorough cleaning. Many cobwebs throughout the house. Stains on the carpets that we were questioned about but were there when we checked in. Mattresses on upstairs bunk bed very uncomfortable. Beautiful lake with a very nice dock. Outside area very enjoyable but would benefit from a table with an umbrella and some general clean up. We were also messaged about damage to a float pad (2 weeks after the trip) that we did not use. This was very concerning to me.

Pretty much everything we needed.
My family enjoyed our stay here. The home is spacious, clean and had all amenities needed. The pictures on the listing are an under representation of how nice the home is, in my opinion anyway. There was an unfortunate issue with the hot tub during our stay, but the owner was fair in accommodating us. I would not hesitate to recommend and/or re-book.

Overall the house was fine ,bath rooms could be cleaner, Both grills were a mess,in order to use the char coal grill all the grates were unusable. Went to fleet farm store to get new ones .

Thank you for the feedback. We have forwarded this to House Cleaner about the bathrooms. She has received hardly any complaining complaints, cleaning our house for four years. I will personally go to the house and clean the grills.

Great Getaway
Thoroughly enjoyed our time relaxing and fishing! Perfect location. Right on the lake with boat access and close enough to town to shop and eat. Lovely town with super nice people. Met the manager and he is fantastic (and a dog lover)! Will definitely be back!

The views at this house are beautiful. It was my second stay here and we loved it. Very spacious. The only downside this stay is that we were woken up on our last day by the pier being put in. But I will definitely stay here again in the future.
