"Great stay"

"Comfortable overall including beds. Nice view from most rooms. Enough dinning/kitchen space for our group of 7. Back porch/ deck was a plus. The only issue was, the upstairs tub had been repaired and was a little weird but did not leak and when hanging a face cloth on the towel rack, it fell of the wall as if had been previously glued. We all still enjoyed our stay."

"Beautiful room for such a great price. Loved having a view of the river. Room was extremely clean, shower was very nice and relaxing after a long day. Only cons: the beds are a little high. Im only 4'11" and basically had to have a running start to jump into the bed. The bed was also a little more firm than my preference but still very comfortable. Hosts were amazing. Would absolutely rent from them again."

"The pictures are inaccurate.A family was staying right at the deck.The grilling area is in rough shape.I will purchase canceling insurance for now on because of this property.Very outdated.Needs some money put into it.It has good potential but a no thankyou for me.Parking was terrible for me as I had a big work truck.And outdated appliances.Live and learn."

"We love when VRBO hosts know how dogs can be an important part of the family! This was a very cute beach house that would suit a large family well. We enjoyed the beach access and the proximity to all that Norfolk has to offer. The host provided clear instructions for arrival and departure and the house included all that we needed for a weekend getaway. "

"I made two bookings, very easy but one canceled abruptly and the second turned out to be a non-available property and I did not find out until an before check-in. I was credited 100 for my trouble. I recommend that anyone that chooses this method, to reach out to the management agency or owner immediately to get the actual status of the property."

"My children and I had a wonderful stay! The home is cute and cozy and has pretty much everything you need. The water just steps from the backdoor was amazing! A large very quiet beach is only a 5 minute walk. We had fun finding all kinds of sealife and critters! VA beach boardwalk was only about a 30 min drive so we enjoyed that as well. "

"It was a work weekend and the cottage was close to the job. (We’re out of Richmond Va)Reason for the 4 star on the listing:Showed the bedroom with 2 double beds and 1 single bed. Actually there are only 1 double and 1 single. No worries though we made it work and it was perfect for us. Will probably book again if y’all will have us.Thanks for letting us stay."

"This was a great little place right on the water of the bay. At low tide we had a private tiny beach. It was in a great location and although it was in a very bisy area, it felt secluded. Everything we needed was there at yhe boathouse. It was clean and bright. The host was friendly and responsive immediately. He gave precise directions and we found the place easily in the dark. We had a lovely stay and would absolutely stay again. and was fr"
