Just 20 minutes from downtown Portland, you’ll have easy access to local attractions while still returning to the peace and quiet of your private lakeside getaway.

The space
This inviting rental offers a quiet escape surrounded by natural beauty, while still being conveniently located near local amenities and outdoor recreation.

Step inside to find a warm and comfortable living space designed for relaxation. The home features an open and welcoming layout with charming furnishings, a fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals, and comfortable bedrooms ideal for families, couples, or small groups looking to unwind. The primary bedroom offers a private layout with a comfortable queen bed, creating a spacious and restful retreat. The second bedroom features a full-size bunk bed, thoughtfully suited for children; for safety reasons, we ask that only two children or one adult sleep in the top bunk. Mini-split systems provide year-round comfort with both heating and cooling options, and a gas stove adds extra warmth on especially cold evenings. For safety and efficiency, please ensure the dining room mini-split is turned off when the gas stove is in use.

Large windows bring in plenty of natural light and offer calming views of the surrounding wooded landscape, creating a restful and restorative atmosphere throughout your stay. The setting encourages you to slow down, relax, and enjoy the peaceful lakeside environment.

Guests have access to a washer and dryer for added convenience, as well as WiFi and streaming-enabled TV to stay connected or unwind with your favorite shows after a day of exploring.

Guests can take advantage of an outdoor fire pit perfect for evening gatherings, a grill for cookouts, and a private dock ideal for lake access, lounging, or launching your own kayak or the owner's paddle board left on the premises for guest use. An outdoor shower offers a refreshing way to rinse off after a swim or a day outdoors, and an outdoor clothesline provides a simple, traditional way to dry towels and swimwear in the fresh air.

• Beach Access: stairs lead down to the home and waterfront - please review photos to ensure suitability and accessibility for your group
• Cleaning Supplies: we ask that only biodegradable products be used for any replacement cleaning or household supplies during your stay, including dish soap, hand soap, shower products, and laundry detergent, to help keep the lake clean, healthy, and beautiful for everyone to enjoy
• Use of Well Water: this property uses private well water - while it is safe for everyday use such as bathing and general cleaning, we recommend guests bring bottled water for drinking and cooking to ensure maximum comfort during your stay
• Assumption of Risk: The owner's paddle board and paddle are available for use by renters at their own risk; guests assume responsibility for personal safety and must provide their own properly fitting life jackets. Children should never be allowed to go by the water without attentive parental supervision. Additionally, renters use the stairs and any steep banking at their own risk. OBS LLC not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
