    Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet

    Open plan living space.

    Kitchen area: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge. Electric heaters, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Garden. Balcony with outdoor furniture. Garage parking for 1 car; additional private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Enjoy views of Lake Windermere and beyond. This light and airy holiday home has a south west facing living room with patio doors to a balcony and a large viewing window enjoying view to the lakes and fells. It is situated in an ideal location, perfect for anyone wishing to explore the lakes, almost every point of the compass offers a new sight. Travel north to Ambleside, Grasmere, or Ullswater (via Kirkstone Path, the highest road in the Lake District at 1489ft), west Coniston and the Furness Fells beyond, or south to Newby Bridge and Fell Foot Park. All local amenities, including shops, pubs, restaurants, a cinema, equestrian centre, and boat trips from the bay, are close at hand, and the lake is within a 5-10 minute walk.

We had a wonderful break at Lake View.

We had a wonderful break at Lake View. The house is in a perfect location, very close to amenities but still offers peace and quiet. The views are stunning. We loved living amongst the trees in all their Autumn colours. House was spotlessly clean and has all the home comforts for a great stay. Perfect base for exploring the lakes and surrounding areas. Fantastic, comfortable apartment.

Fantastic, comfortable apartment. We couldn't fault this apartment in any way. The location is perfect with a partial lake view, within walking distance to shops, pubs and restaurants. Extremely clean, thanks to Sean and his team. We would like to thank him for his speedy response regarding the faulty toaster which short circuited the electrics meaning we had no power for a short time. All in all a great place to stay and hopefully we will return in the not too distant future.

Considering the Covid 19 restrictions we had a wonderful holiday, the accommodation was prepared to a high standard and sanitised, it felt completey safe. The local amenities were also safe to visit. Had a great short break here.

Had a great short break here. Very close to everything Bowness has to offer. Good location, and the bonus of free parking. Only niggles were the lack of soap in the bathroom and kitchen, and never stayed anywhere without a welcome pack of at least a pint of milk. Had to go out and get milk, and then again for liquid soap. Great stay though, would consider returning.

We visit the Lake District almost every year and in the last ten years or so, have stayed in this property. We have always found it to be clean, well equipped and comfortable and because its elevated with the lounge on the top floor, it benefits from superb views over the mountains and lake Windermere through very large patio doors. With a ground floor garage and a top floor balcony, its a superb place to stay. It has broadband now and yes it can be a little expensive but in our view well worth it.
