"Clean and modern, excellent facilities"

"Unfortunately we were not offered the two bedroom apartment we had booked, instead we were offered a one bed apartment with a sofa bed. The sofa bed was very hard and not suitable for two people, not even children. We requested a partial refund for this and were assured we were entitled to one but this has not been received. The property itself was beautiful, everything worked and communication with the host was excellent. Its just a shame that this all now feels like a charade. I see from...

"Lovely one bedroom apartment in centre of town and close to all amenities. Host was so helpful and when I was unable to open link he send me the details by email. A perfect property with everything we needed."

"Very spacious flat equipped with everything you need. Only issue waz that the electric fire didnt work and no brush to be able to sweep up after walking . Shower was fab! Very central to windermere and 20 min walk to bowness . Very cosy place"

"The Retreat was the perfect place to stay in Windermere. It was stocked with everything I needed from an umbrella to salt, pepper and vegetable oil for cooking. The location was ideal. It was close to the train station and the Main Street. It was very quiet because it was on a little side street. I highly recommend it."
