"The fresh eggs from our host's chickens were wonderful as was the bread and butter. Minor problem -- there was no toaster for the bread and there was a small toaster oven, but the cord was 1' long and there was no extension cord. We tried to move it but it had a microwave on top of it and that almost led to disaster. "This property was a great place to stay. It was very clean and was nicely furnished including an arcade game which was fun. It’s very close to Jim Thorpe and was walkable to several restaurants. I was in town for a Reading & Northern train ride and it’s only about 15 minutes from the train station in Nesquehoning. I will definitely try to stay here again in the future if I’m in the area. "

"On this very hilly community, this house is within walking distance to the club house, tennis court, pool and the camel back water park. As we went to explore by car, we realize how lucky we were.
