Located on a peaceful 5-acre property just outside of Wimberley, this rustic-modern retreat is part of the RusTx Ranch community—a small collection of uniquely themed cottages, a log home, and a charming event barn.

Inside, you’ll find two cozy queen bedrooms, a compact but functional bathroom with a long vanity and tiled walk-in shower, and a living area designed for relaxing after a day exploring the Hill Country. The flip-flop sofa folds out to provide extra sleeping space for a 5th guest, and there’s a comfy club chair and wall-mounted streaming TV to round out the space. The kitchenette offers everything you need for simple meals, including a microwave, fridge, coffee maker, and dining table for up to six.

Decor throughout the cottage leans into outdoorsy nostalgia, with creative touches that nod to fishing trips, camping adventures, and cozy nights around the fire. Honey-toned wood walls, corrugated metal ceilings, and playful pail light fixtures set the tone for a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Just outside, rocking chairs on your front porch invite slow mornings and stargazing evenings. The cottage is one of three set in a horseshoe around a shared firepit with Adirondack chairs (BYO firewood), creating a communal feel without sacrificing your privacy. Guests also have access to the shared pickleball court—a favorite way to burn off some energy between wineries or waterfall hikes.

With Wimberley Valley Winery and Lone Man Mountain Brewing Co. just two minutes away, and Wimberley Square and Blue Hole Regional Park a quick drive down the road, you’ll find plenty of ways to fill your days—whether you’re sipping, swimming, shopping, or just soaking in the scenery.

Multiple cottages at RusTx Ranch can be booked together to accommodate larger gatherings like reunions, retreats, or wedding parties.

Things to Note:
-The firepit and pickleball court are shared with other guests on the property.

-The event barn may host weddings or gatherings during your stay—events wrap up by midnight.
