Conveniently located 1.5 miles from Wimberley Square, the Getaway offers a fully equipped kitchen, living area, and an outdoor oasis with Cypress Creek access. If traveling in a group, make sure to check out the other Creekside Cabins located on the same property.

The adorable agave-colored exterior of the home blends beautifully with the landscaping work of plants, flowers, and pottery. The decor of the home brings the beauty of nature inside with florals, hardwood floors, and a rock fireplace. Just a few steps away, the Getaway kitchen is fully stocked for all your culinary needs. Prepare veggies and sides in the kitchen and toss some steaks on the charcoal grill for a classic feast! Enjoy your meal at the breakfast table, or on a pleasant evening, step outside and dine on the porch while listening to the sounds of nature.

Both beds offer soft linens, warm quilts, and are sure to provide a restful night’s sleep. The bathroom provides luxurious towels and calming neutral tones that will have you feeling restful in the evening and refreshed in the morning. As the day begins, lift the blinds to let the natural light in and enjoy your coffee in bed. Pick up some pastries at a local bakery for breakfast and step out onto the patio deck to marvel at the beauty of a cool Hill Country morning. For more privacy, relax on the wicker furniture on the covered back porch. Take a stroll down to the creek and become mesmerized as the clear water ripples over the stones and giant cypress roots.

The outdoor space at Creekside Cabins is unmatched! Enjoy a fire pit, amazing views, provided seating, and creek access. Gather around the fire to roast s’mores, keep warm on a cool night, and for those late-night conversations under the stars. Bring along your fishing pole and head down to the creek to reel ‘em in! For more tranquil travelers, grab a good book and simply relax in one of the hammocks while listening to the flow of the creek. For a little friendly competition, bring yard games like cornhole and horseshoes and compete until dark, when the lightning bugs come out to play.

Spend the day in Wimberley, browsing the darling shops, delicious restaurants, and local wineries and breweries. Outdoor enthusiasts will love Jacobs Well and Blue Hole Regional Park for swimming, kayaking, and hiking trails.
Looking for an outing for the day? Take a drive to Canyon Lake and rent a boat or jet skis for a fun afternoon on the water. Check out the music calendar at Whitewater Amphitheater and rock out at a concert! Explore New Braunfels and Gruene and enjoy fabulous restaurants and live music. A day of tubing, kayaking, and rafting on the Guadalupe River is always fun. Families and children will especially love Schlitterbahn Water Park and Landa Park. Visit the over 240 shops at the San Marcos Outlet for an endless day of shopping.

Blanco has several popular attractions for outdoorsmen, historians, and foodies. Blanco State Park offers fishing, swimming, and hiking. For those interested in the historical Old West, The Buggy Barn has over 140 covered wagons. Real Ale Brewing Company offers guided tours and a taproom tasting experience.
