"We always enjoy our stay here. Imani, the front desk clerk, is such a delight to talk with. The mattresses are getting a little saggy, but the historic charm and comfort of the hotel is always on point. We appreciate being able to walk to restaurants and the convenient locations to drive to whatever we need. We were bummed the Swamp Fox closed an hour earlier than advertised, though. "

"I can't say enough wonderful things about my stay here. The room was absolutely charming, with a king bed, jacuzzi tub, and a balcony with the spectacular river view. The complimentary breakfast served was a full, real country breakfast and delicious. Every staff member I met was more than gracious, kind, and hospitable-- each of them made my visit even more of a delight. "The tub had what looked like grout on the edge and by the drain in the tub. No big deal. We just wiped it out. The staff was pleasant and helpful in locating our room. The room was clean with a large refrigerator and microwave. No decaf coffee offered, but that was no biggie either. The bed was very comfortable. We will definitely stay again on our ventures to visit our new great-grandbaby due in February. Parking was rightvat our door."
