  • This historic Inn sits at the base of Ragged Mtn. and provides the perfect space for family gatherings! Cook in the large commercial kitchen with double wall oven, 6 burner stove, griddle and multiple commercial fridges & freezers. Seat everyone in the spacious dining area. A magnificent great room with wood burning fireplace, game table and oversized picture windows looks out over the sprawling hills, giant outdoor fire pit and pond. With lots of abutting trails to explore. Jump in the heated indoor pool or view swimmers from the bar balcony and sunken conversational room. Grab a book and nestle in one of the many quiet nooks throughout the house. Plenty of nearby shops, restaurants & golf course's while Only 20 minutes to Mt. Sunapee and lake.
    For even MORE space add our apartments to your rental. Early check-in may be available for a fee of $600.

The Inn was the perfect setting for our extended family gathering. A wedding brought over twenty of us to the area from all over and we could not believe all the space and amenities that were available. Having so many individual bedrooms and bathrooms, a well appointed kitchen, gorgeous yard and pool helped to make the stay extra special. We only wish we had more time together. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for someplace to stay in the area. Thank you!

This is our third year booking this house and we absolutely love it. The pool is so much fun, the updated furniture was great and overall 10/10 experience. The host was very available to answer questions and great to communicate with throughout the stay. Can’t wait for next year!

This place was AMAZING! We have a large family with a LOT of kids. There was enough space for absolutely everyone ! All the rooms were a great size. If you wanted to get away by yourself, this place is big enough where you can do so. The large living room had couches big enough for ALL the adults to play board games at night. There were huge fireplaces. (Although it was summer so we didn’t get to use them unfortunately ). The commercial kitchen was massive. There was a commercial stove, double ovens and the star of the show….. the griddle. That griddle made breakfast for 20 people all at once. It makes me want to get one at my own house. And the dining room has plenty of room for everyone to sit and eat together. The pool was perfect and kept the kids and adults busy when we didn’t want to venture out. Lake sunapee was about 15 minutes away. It was a small beach but wasn’t too packed. It was a fun day. All in all, we will DEFINITELY be back. This will be our yearly family vacation.

The hosts couldn't have been more accommodating and prompt in reply to. questions. The history and charm of the property were amazing. Large, very well stocked kitchen. The kids particularly loved the variety of games available. We would definitely recommed for large groups!

Adequate space for all guests and overall a great vacation. The host was very responsive and onsite support was excellent. Some minor issues related to the following:1. Some lights either did not work, or we could not find where to turn them on/off2. The remote control/s for the TV, cable box and DVR were confusing e.g. we think there were 2 remotes for the TV/cable box (1 to turn them on/off and one to control the volume?)3, Lots of ticks on property - not sure what you can do about that4. Pool is great, but the area is very hot and humid (maybe due to the weather that week?)5. There was a smell of gas at times in the large TV room in the basement as well a smell of burnt firewood (the latter may be due to being asked to keep the fireplace flue openOverall, the place needs some minor renovations but as mentioned above, we had a great time.

Friendsgiving stay

Our group of 15 had a wonderful stay. The kitchen is a dream! The hosts were very welcoming and quick to respond. And the view is spectacular!

The kitchen is awesome with plenty of refrigerator space. Bring any foil, plastic wrap, leftover containers with you. They have tons of plates, drinkware, cookware. The pool area was a big hit with the younger folks and some of the parents. We didn't end up using the fireplace because the weather was mild.

A perfect getaway for a large group!

The old inn was a great spot for a weekend of BBQ, yard games, and good times. The accommodations were just what we needed for a great getaway! Eric was great to work with and was quick to respond to all of my inquiries. I hope to visit it again!

Excellent Property

With a group of 20, there are many times where you cannot even find anyone amongst the various spaces, which are all unique.The bedrooms were spacious, the house was clean, and in an excellent location to both Mount Sunapee and the more local Ragged Mtn. I've been booking annual vacation homes for over 10 years and this one is one of the best yet.

Perfect weekend

My husband and I invited our wedding party to stay at NHMI with us for the weekend of our wedding! We got married at Ragged Mountain and this inn was a perfect spot for our wedding party to get ready/ hangout after the wedding! The inn was extremely clean and charming with views that will take your breath away. Perfect weekend!

Better than you can even imagine!

Mountainside estate was an absolute dream property! I swear we didn't even find all the bedrooms because there were just so many! All the guests raved about every part of the property, from the pool, to the kitchen, to all the lounge areas. Everything was comfortable, cozy, and very clean. We can't wait to plan our next stay!

Great stay for large group

We had an amazing weekend at this house! It had plenty of space for our 8 families with tons of beds and places to hang out. We never felt crowded and so many options for things to do with the pool, games, tv room and board games! Thanks for an amazing weekend we’ll be back!!
