"I absolutely loved my stay at the Red Cottage and it is my favorite place that I've stayed while visiting Wilmington. Peaceful, plenty roomy, less than 10 minutes to town and even closer to the lake. I have Celiac so have to bring items like a toaster to avoid cross-contamination but the kitchen has everything you need for your stay. The team was super responsive even before my stay. Highly recommend and look forward to my next visit! "

One thing we do wish we had was fans in the upstairs rooms, as we stayed in the summer time and it did get quite hot up there. The owners were very helpful, and amazing with communication. "Overall the stay was okay. I am generally not a complainer, and have stayed in many rental properties. I was initially upset about the condition of the place, but I got used to it. It seems like the place is old and not well kept up. The inside of the house has a bad odor, also the septic smelled bad, so we had to keep the slider to the deck closed. I had to wipe down the kitchen table and counter because they were dirty. Lots of cobwebs (I have them too, but I don't rent my house out.) The bed...

"Great place, fun little cozy spot. Not as secluded as it may appear in pictures. Farmhouse is about 100 feet away, and there are numerous other rentals nearby, so we had people walking around the house while we were there. Nice house, really enjoyed our stay, but not very private or secluded at all. If that’s ok with you, inside the place itself is nice."

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Vermont property. The home was exceptionally clean upon arrival, which was much appreciated and made us feel comfortable right away. Any requests or questions we had were addressed promptly by the host, who was always pleasant and accommodating. The peaceful setting and well-maintained amenities made for a relaxing getaway. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay in rural Vermont!"

"The place was fine but the ac unit was not working . The high tempatures and humidity it was 85 inside the majority of time . I rented this place to work and relax and I spent my time waiting for hvac appointments etc and being hot, not able to sleep becuase of the heat. If the air conditioning was working it would’ve been really nice ."

"This is a beautiful house. It is located right near the golf course and is a walk to town/campus. The house is immaculate- equipped with anything you need and is incredibly spacious.
