We understand your disappointment. But there was no “switcharoo” as you claim. It was booked by a guest before Expedia site updated the availability of the room. We did however offer you a complete refund several times to which you declined everytime, we didn’t want you to feel like you had to pay for something that you didn’t want. Although it was an upgrade (higher floor, bigger balcony better view riverfront) So we find your review extremely upsetting even after we tried to go above and beyond to make your stay more enjoyable.

Kathryn, Your issues were brought to our attention after check out and after you realized you where being charged for a parking pass you failed to return even though we sent you 3 messages reminding you to leave it. But we will address all those concerns right here because the public deserves to hear both sides of the story. 1- used gloves under sink- Those are rubber gloves used by the cleaning company when they clean the restrooms if you would of looked and not ASSumed they were just left there you would of seen all they're cleaning chemicals there as well in they're little cleaning caddy. 2-the used rags in the hallway closet are actually extra dish rags and kitchen towels for the condo. 3-Toilet bowl brush. It's a toilet bowl brush in a holder by the toilet bowl. Not sure where you all put yours over in Texas but ours go by the toilet. 4-That pesky stick vacuum hanging on the wall in the bedroom. thats a rechargeable dyson vacuum that sits on a charging base at all times. So when you or housekeeping needs it it's charged. If all this was a problem you surely didn't bother to tell us when you called to extend your reservation a day or even after you had checked in. But that's ok we understand your probably used to people bending to your will. Here we ask that everyone be grown adults and take responsibility for their actions or lack of. So when we have to charge you for taking a parking pass that we repeatedly asked you to leave for the next guest and you didn't its just how things are done here. This guest spilled coffee all over the room to say it wasn’t clean and stole the parking pass and keys. A warrant has been issued for their arrest for defrauding an innkeeper. We moved this guest to a different room after he complained and gave him free on site parking and he still damaged our condos by opening coffee and spilling it all over the counters , sinks, toilets, cabinets. We are lucky that we video every room before a guest checks in and video after they check out. They even set the thermostat to 98 and turned on the heat. We look forward to this court date!
