Our family has vacationed at Wrightsville Beach dir 35 years. This year we chose the Boyd Beach House and were not disappointed. It was spacious, comfortable and located just a short walk from the beach.

Another great stay at this home 2024

Our family had another great vacation this year staying in this home, and this was during Hurricane Debby so we did not get the beach days that we were expecting but we were able to make the most of it. The house has ample room for our family to spread out which we needed this year with the hurricane. Our grown children made the best of it using the large garage to play corn hole. This was our second year staying in this home, it is clean and the owner is top-notch with communication from booking to check-in and out. The location is a quick walk through a court to the beach access and is in a quiet neighborhood. We look forward to staying in this home again.

Great Space, Great location

The house is spacious so that are common areas to gather , as well as spaces that allow for privacy. It is an easy walk to the beach. Although there are are restaurants and entertainment within walking distance, the house is located on the less crowded area on the northern end of the beach. Diane is a wonderful host.

Family Reunion

If you have a large family you will love this beach house! It made a wonderful family reunion location! There is plenty of seating for family dinners. With a large great room, our little ones had plenty of space to play and going back and forth to the beach was easy since the beach is only a few minutes walk away. Diane, the owner is very accommodating. We look forward to staying there again.

GREAT Family vacation home

My family loves Wrightsville Beach the most out of all the surrounding beaches. The owner responded to all my emails/texts and showed us around the house at check-in. This property did not disappoint. The rooms are spacious with private bathrooms. We were less than a block walk to the beach and it was not crowded. This home has ample space for bedrooms and open living/gathering spaces. The kitchen was fully stocked and capable of handling our meals with ample table seating. We will definitely be staying here again.

A Wonderful Week at Wrightsville Beach

The property was perfect for my family. Everyone had their own bedroom & bath. The kitchen was well equipped. The house had balconies on the front and back. The amenities, such as beach chairs, a second beverage refrigerator, and use of a garage, made our trip a pleasure. It is a short walk to the beach and a short distance to several good restaurants. The house is a great place to relax and enjoy a vacation.

A nice stay

Diane's home is lovely and comfortable and just a short block to the ocean access. The kitchen was well-equipped and the space was clean and met our needs. Not a mark against the host (maybe a mark against me for assuming), but we had interpreted linens provided as including bath towels. This is just good information to have ahead of time.

Wrightsville Beach 2023

The property was perfect for our family of 10 which consisted of 4 couples and 2 young children. We were very pleased with the size of the home's interior and the short walking distance to the beach access. There is ample room in the home not to get in each others way. The home is located on an access street that has very minimal vehicle traffic, just off of the main road. It was perfect for the children to ride bikes and play. The host was very attentive to our needs and met us at check in for a tour of the property. During our stay there was one minor glitch with the air conditioning system. The host responded immediately, contacted an HVAC contractor who also responded immediately and the issue was fixed very promptly. There also is ample parking at the property. We parked 2 large pickup trucks and 2 SUV's with plenty of room for 2 other vehicles if needed. We highly recommend this property and hope to return for another stay in the future.

50th Anniversary

Our family loved the layout of the house and proximity to the beach. Children and teens were comfortable and loved the outdoor shower. It was a great place to celebrate our 50th anniversary gathering. Wrightsville beach boasts a great beachfront and very good restaurants. Everyone who visits this property will come away happy.

Spacious House in Wrightsville

My family loved the house. The location on the north end of Wrightsville Island was perfect. The beach was less crowded than the downtown area. It was a short walk across the dunes to the beach. The large living room area and kitchen were perfect for a comfortable vacation with my adult children. It was convenient for them to have their own space. The wifi connection was very good. One of my children worked remotely one day from the house and had no problems. The decks on the front and back of the house providing a nice outdoor living space. Although we were about a mile from downtown it was a quiet neighborhood. We are planning to spend another week there next year!

Diane’s home is spacious and nicely located near a convenient beach access. The kitchen is well equipped and there are sheets on the beds. All other amenities, including toilet paper, must be provided by the renters. We had a lovely week.

Family Beach Vaca

Diane’s place was a perfect size and location for our family beach getaway. It was a short walk to the beach and the extra parking allowed in-town family to park hassle free. We took advantage of the covered deck when it was raining one day and enjoyed coffee on the front deck in the mornings. The extra bathrooms were also great so several of us could shower and get ready at the same time!

Happy Times

This was our 3rd summer vacation at this rental home. The location and space is perfect for our growing family of 10. The layout of this home works great for our family needs. The location of this house is the best. A short walk to the beach, halfway between the bigger hotels so the beach isn't too crowded. We would stay there again for sure.

Family Beach Trip

Wonderful house located in a nice neighborhood with walkable beach access. Having 5 bedrooms and 5 full bathrooms and a half bathroom was absolutely perfect. We were there for a family beach trip and having the extra space was amazing. The host, Diane and her husband Dale couldn’t have been nicer and were very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely book this house again!

Summer Fun

This a wonderful home for our family of 7 adults and 2 children. The living space, bedrooms and decks are all large with plenty of room for everyone. The 3rd floor bedroom was perfect for the baby...a seemingly soundproof room for her to sleep. The pool table offered extra entertainment. We would recommend this home for your next vacation and in addition, Diane, the owner is very pleasant to work with and quick to respond to text and emails.

Good Family Vacation Getaway

This house worked well for our family. It was nice to have a bathroom for each bedroom. Our teenagers and young adults enjoyed playing pool. Short walk to the beach which was nice. It was in a residential area so the beach near the house was not too crowded.

Another Great Time

This was our second stay at this property. The house comfortably accommodated our group of 10 adults and children. Proximity to the beach made it easy and convenient to go back & forth to the house during the day. The grill was a great addition. We used it it frequently. Our chef made due with what was available, but suggested the kitchen could have been better equipped to meet his needs... more, varied pots, pans & utensils. Overall, another great visit to Wrightsville. Thank you, Diane.
