"The property was very quiet and charming. It was like staying at my grandmothers house when I was a kid. I would definitely stay here again. However, there is no hot tub like advertised. There are also lots of nails around the house from the newly installed roof. A previous review stated the same issue with nails, and they have not been cleaned up. We picked up lots of nails and metal cuttings during our stay to help. Someone needs to go out with a magnet and clean up the mess from the new roof....

"My family of 8 adults and 6 grandkids stayed here for the Thanksgiving Holiday 2025. We had the most fabulous time at the Grand Oaks Ranch as it is an absolute must if you are looking for a place to enjoy the outdoors, ranch animals, superior interior accommodations, a pool, and a turf area for kids games like soccer and football! All of this within a short drive to Fredericksburg for shopping and dining and just fun! The host was also very accommodating and took care of any of our needs which...

"What a fantastic venue for our family reunion! We booked all the houses on the property. We used the main house as our meeting place and to prepare meals. The kids enjoyed the pool and the hot tub while the adults appreciated the hill country view and just sitting around the porch chatting. I've never seen brighter stars in the sky or bigger smiles on everyone's faces. Hoping to come back again! Highly recommend!"
