"Not fancy, but functional. All necessary amenities present and working correctly. Reasonably recently renovated. Seems to have many long-term residents, but they weren't any kind of problem. Minor nits: could use a second chair, elevator slow, mattress slides on platform bed at little too easily. Very good value for the price."

"This is a wedding venue mostly but they do make rooms available to guests during the week and off peak periods. The entrance to the property threw me as it was behind the parking lot of a defunct closed strip mall and at first, I wasn’t sure the approach was taking me to the right place.. when you arrive and park, there is a 24/7 lobby that is not staffed, there I found a basket with an envelope and my name on it which contained a passcode to the common area and my room. "We have come here before. The property is well maintained, smells fresh and clean. All of the staff were helpful and kind. The pool is huge and a great amenity along with some games outside, seats and an on site restaurant. The location is great, lots of things to choose to eat or shop. The rooms are spacious and had a dining table with two seats. It’s very cozy and family friendly. "The wallpaper was peeling in the room and hallways. The hallways were dark and not air conditioned. Everything was old and in need of repair. The restaurant wasn't open and the breakfast was a small pastry in a to-go box. The pool was freezing and cloudy. The TV was very small and not streaming services adaptable. There is also no microwave in the rooms. I was there two nights and never saw house keeping. Aurora is a nice neighborhood, this hotel might have been nice 20 years ago but not now."

"We stayed at this location because of the wineries nearby. Both the hotel website and the Debonne winery website advertised free shuttles to and from the winery. The website was clear that the shuttles were daily and complimentary. When we got there we were told first that there weren’t shuttles, and later that there was one going at 4:30, for $39 a person!!! It all felt very sketchy. The hotel itself was fine and the breakfast was solid, but if you are looking for a winery shuttle or helpful...
