The location of our house is 6 kilometres from Willingen and located in Willingen Upland. Our house is on a street with 4 houses , all four houses are at the edge of the forest and the street is dead end. You walk with 50 metres into the forest. The peace you will encounter here and sometimes be overwhelmed by quiet, sometimes not a sound. The highlanders are on a grass field across the road and when quiet, you can hear them eating grass. There are many well-marked footpaths in the area, the Pilger route starts across the road from us. In our garden you have a private entrance for the terrace, terrace is hidden from the road and slightly higher, giving you private seating. The garden is open against the forest at the top. As a result, deer and other animals are regularly in our garden. A raccoon family is also nearby.( please be careful with the raccoons, they are not pettable animals , but wild and bite. Inside In the house they are not nice either, demolish everything. The hustle and bustle of Willingen and its surroundings can be reached in a few minutes. In the village itself there are no more facilities, such as a bakery or cafe, Supermarkets can be found in Usseln and Willingen a few kilometres away. Diemelsee and various attraction s within acceptable driving distance. Winterberg is 14 kilometres away. With us is the peace, the hustle and bustle you can seek.
Our house has on the second floor (96 M2) 6 rooms including 3 bedrooms and is ideal is 6 persons( or less). There are sleeping places for 8 people, but this is not ideal as toilet and shower are in the same room. The bathroom with a bathtub, with a flat area in the bath where the shower is also located. You shower in the bath. In this same bathroom is also the sink and toilet. The kitchen has all appliances such as dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, hot air oven and induction cooking. Kitchen is of course fully equipped with cutlery, crockery and pans. The living room has 2 sofas, dining area with 6 chairs, extra chairs are available if needed for more people. Of course a good Wifi connection and a flat screen TV with Dutch channel via Canal Digital and German channels via dish. The beds are made upon arrival.
We have no large-screen photos, what you see is what you find. We rent 1 floor, so you are not hindered by other tenants, you have the entire floor
through the door on the side you have access to a terrace of 65 M2. there is a garden set with table, and 8 chairs. Sometimes guests leave the barbecue behind that you can use. There is our own barbecue that you can use, but please clean again after use. we work for a deposit so that the barbecue can be used again afterwards. The garden is much larger and borders the forest, without fencing or separation. However, against the hill, making it difficult to walk. You walk through the front door with 1 minute into the forest. Children's playground there are two in village, especially for small children. 150 metres away
We are usually not present and therefore you are the only tenant. You then have the house to yourself, we only rent one floor at a time. We spend a lot of time cleaning our caretaker and partly because of this, tenants have found our house very clean for years. We also find that you the photos are not from long gone times, but maximum 2 years old. The last adjustments have been in summer 2025.
