"I love older houses, this one was charming, clean and pefect for our family. It had a fully fenced back yard for the dog, a pond and wasn't far from anything. A great stay!"

"My stay at this rental was deeply unsettling and unsafe. The apartment itself has a creepy, neglected vibe, and it only got worst. A serious safety issue occured when a teenager in our group fell through a rotted, unstable deck/ a terrifying and completely preventable accident. Even more concerning, the entrance code to our apartment was the same code used for all other units in the building. This made me feel extremely unsafe as anyone from another unit could have accessed ours at any time....

"I’ve stayed at a lot of VRBOs over the years, but this one in Willimantic is by far the best experience I’ve ever had. The house had absolutely everything we needed and more, they even had brand new deck furniture ready for us to enjoy.The bed was hands-down the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in at a VRBO or hotel, and the whole environment just felt welcoming and relaxing. At night, you could hear the frogs out in the woods, which gave such a unique and peaceful vibe, it really made the stay...

"The cottage is everything one could need or want when wanting to enjoy quiet surrounded by nature. The hosts really set it up with all one needs to feel like they are home away from home. They communicated well and made sure we knew we could reach out to them for any needs. I left out a star due to water issues which has nothing to do with the host but location I’m sure. We had to keep waiting for it to be available for showers and with teens the complaints must be heard and thus that should be...

"This is a very unique and comfy place. Kids regretted that they only got to spend two nights here. I would mind spending more time hanging out in this place either myself! "

"I was looking for a peaceful retreat and found it here. Cute cozy cottage with all the necessities and modern upgrades and a nice view of the lake. Jason was great at answering questions and making recommendations for the area to visit. Definitely enjoyed my stay. Oh and watch out for Big Foot. "

"We had a nice getaway after a tour of our alma mater, UCONN. This welcoming and very well decorated home gave us a nice place to rest and connect after our busy day."

"Very clean and comfortable. Advertises a double sofa bed in the living room. It just had a sectional sofa. We made due for the couple of nights we stayed. Other than that it was excellent. The host was very polite and answered all questions quickly. We will definitely look to stay here again when we visit. Parking in the driveway is tight so we parked in the street."

"The home was a very beautiful remodeled lake home. The property was perfect! The kayaks were a nice treat and the location was just amazing. The road was not too busy but the cars using it did go very fast. If you have kids make sure they are aware of the cars going fast. The kitchen was well stocked. The linens were abundant and that was very helpful, especially towels. We live in SC and found the night a little chilly (I know we sound wimpy lol) but the gas fireplace was nice to have. We stay...
