"Cottage on the cove is one of the best homes we’ve stayed in. The house is extremely well stocked, the lake is gorgeous, with really great fishing, and there is enough around in the surrounding area to venture out for days trips if needed. We highly recommend staying here."

"House is perfect for larger families or groups! Plenty of amenities and a great dock to fish off of. Pretty view, and very easy to access the property. Not too far from Danville, Roxboro or VIR. Since no house is perfect….the batteries in the remote for the TV need to be replaced. LOL. Other than that…house was perfect! Thank you! "

"We went to the area to visit a life long friend and family. We had such a wonderful time. The home is cozy and the area is so quiet. We spent evenings by the fire pit. We had a very nice stay and hope to make it back and stay again. "

"The stay was great ! When we arrived it was right after the heavy rains that had some flooding that affected the dock access, but receded within a day. The home was is great order. We were informed of everything before arrival and chose to stay anyway ! The place is very nice and cozy, caretakers were very nice and accommodating with all that was happening at the time of our visit. Beautiful sunsets off the dock every evening. We will be back very soon !!"

It was chilly during our stay but we took advantage of the location and walked just a short distance to a couple local bars/restaurants, did the river walk, checked out the farmers market next door and ventured to the casino that was only a few miles away. "This home had so many thoughtful touches! The host really went out of the way to make sure it is stocked with helpful items that you may need while visiting. The home is beautiful, the beds are comfortable, and the setting was quiet and peaceful. You should stay here!"
