"We loved this place from the moment we arrived. It has all the modern conveniences but they’ve kept historical appearances. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfy; each bedroom had its own en-suite. It was a perfect location for two of my favorite activities—bicycling and fishing. Too bad the weather didn’t cooperate:( the hosts were gracious and responsive. "

"This past weekend we stayed at The Estate for the PSU game and we were so happy with the property that we decided to rent it again next year. The house was exactly as described in the listing. It was extremely clean, and every little thing was thought of. From specific instructions on how to use everything in the home, to open communication with the owners, and amazing little touches throughout the house. We had a fully stacked mini fridge, donuts, snacks, toothbrushes and razors and all sorts...

"Gorgeous location! Spacious and comfortable living area with large kitchen and bathroom for multiple people getting ready for a Penn State tailgate. Beautiful outdoor spaces to enjoy. Host went above and beyond to help us find the secluded location when GPS failed, and very responsive to all queries. Would love to return in better weather with more time to enjoy the property."

"We were greet by a super sweet lady, Sharon who showed us around the property. I would not Consider this property as “having all the amenities of home”’as there is no WiFi, couch or tv” but it’s the perfect place for. “Camping” style trip as the mattresses are very thin. There are No places deliver food to this location so make sure to bring everything you need as the closest store is about 25 minutes away. Also a little further of a drive to PSU as we realized. We will definitely be checking...

"This is a beautiful newly renovated property. My fiancée made comments about moving in lol. We were in town to support our daughter for the Olympic Trials in State college. The drive was very scenic going in and out of the property. If we are even in Pennsylvania (hopefully in 4 years) we will be on the lookout for this property."

"This hotel is new and everything was great during our stay. Room was comfortable and clean and there was a microwave too. We arrived near 9:30 PM and there was a welcome warm soup: very tasty! Wifi and parking are free. Breakfast was great too! The hotel is a little far from Altoona downtown so its location is very calm. We really appreciated the treatment received and would stay here again!"
