Lovely large room by river in "Kingsmill on the James"

The largest and newest one room model on top floor (second level) within walking distance of the beach and marina in the gated "Kingsmill on the James". New top of the line mattress sets for summer 2023 and new luxurious carpeting (not part of Kingsmill Resort but Kingsmill Spa is available with your stay)
On top floor room features balcony backing to the beautiful wooded lake, with James River in the distance, beautiful water views after the leaves fall. All single rooms in Kingsmill have an adjoining suite available with two locking doors between them (See larger listing. If guests are in the adjoining room, you may hear them but there is no one above you). The room has mini fridge with separate freezer, microwave, Keurig coffee maker (not a kitchen) with a variety of coffees, its own hvac system, fire stick with YouTubeTV, Hulu, ad-free YouTube and Sling. Starz, HBOMax.. Very close to Busch Gardens, watch the summer fireworks right from your own balcony. Swim or sunbathe at our own private beach (restroom and shower in Marina building) dogs welcome too. Miles of beautiful biking and walking trails, Audubon bird sanctuary and nature preserve. Walk to the Mill Cafe and have coffee and pastries on one of those beautiful outdoor Terraces or sandwiches during the day. Barbecue and picnic areas, tennis and basketball, soccer fields throughout the grounds. Visit the historic Beach Village at Yorktown where Washington won our independence, take the ferry to Historic Surry and eat on the water at Surry Seaford Seafood, or just spend a day following the famous Williamsburg tasting Trail, or try your luck at Colonial Downs Casino and racetrack!

The apartment was perfect, nice size and clean. A perfect location to Williamsburg, Bush Gardens, and Water Country. Located in a quiet community and the apartment looks out on the lake. If we are in the area again, we will definitely stay there again. The host was nice and prompt with answers to our questions. A nice restaurant within the community too

We loved our time spent at Kings Mills Resort. The scenery and views were amazing and the condo was spot on! Our host was so very friendly and welcoming and she was always very quick to respond to our messages if we had any questions or concerns. We love our stay and will definitely be back and would recommend this place to anyone visiting the Williamsburg/Busch Gardens area.

Our first VRBO and it couldn't have been easier. Gayle was very nice and answered our messages within minutes. The place was clean and in a private, gated community. If we ever go back to Williamsburg we would stay there.

My family of four had a wonderful time staying in Gayleā€™s room at Kingsmill Resort. From the gated resort, it was a quick drive to Colonial Williamsburg, Yorktown, Jamestown, and Busch Gardens. It was the perfect location to enjoy a peaceful evening sitting at the picnic tables on the marina, which is a short walk from the room. Gayleā€™s room was very clean and quiet. We appreciated that the room is dog friendly. Our dog enjoyed the marina and walking the trails around the resort as much as we did. Gayle quickly answered any of our questions and made our stay a relaxing and wonderful experience. We will definitely be staying again the next time we are visiting Williamsburg.

Our stay was great. Owner was extremely helpful with any questions and very responsive. Room was very clean and welcoming. The view was amazing and sitting on the balcony in the mornings listening to the birds and drinking coffee was just what I needed. I will definitely be contacting her again when we go to Williamsburg.

We chose this property when another rental fell through for our college visit. We were very pleased with the comfortability of the beds and the room, and the little microwave and refrigerator were just right for our needs. The porch area was lovelyā€”like sitting in a treehouse!

The condo itself is in a excellent location, a short stroll to the riverfront marina and restaurant. The linens were in excellent condition and exceeded our expectations. We had issues getting streaming services to work but it was all user error. We would love to stay there again if ever in the area.
