If the cleaning does not meet your standards on your day of arrival, contact us prior to 5:30pm. We are always happy to help with any issues during your stay. Please feel free to reach out to us and we will do our best to help make your stay as enjoyable as we can.
Located near the Grand Canyon (1 hour, 15 minutes driving, but we recommend the train), hiking, skiing (two slopes within 30 minutes), the Oak Hill Snowplay Area, fishing, biking, ATV trails, and a variety of family activities, including Bearizona and the Grand Canyon Deer Farm, a great children's petting zoo. It is just ten minutes from Route 66 in historic downtown Williams, Arizona, and the Grand Canyon Railway, where children and the young at heart can take a ride on the Polar Express during the holidays, or take the historic train to the Grand Canyon.
Roads directly surrounding the home are well-maintained dirt roads that could require 4WD in some weather conditions.
Please note there is no air conditioning at this property. The house stays naturally cool when guests follow the instructions in our house manual.
Coffeemaker is for both drip and K cups. Blender, hand mixer, crockpot, and all major utensils, cookware, dinnerware, and glasses provided. Grill is near back patio and includes extra propane. Do not move grill to any other location.
The cabin is equipped with one television with DirecTV in the living room only.
Internet has been updated to Starlink satellite service and is now fast enough to allow streaming access to multiple devices. Cell service is spotty. Verizon appears to be the best currently. Please keep in mind, this is a cabin in the woods. Please use this time to unplug and reconnect with your family and friends. Please make sure you review check-in instructions PRIOR to arrival so you are not relying on cell service to access the app.
We encourage guests to bring drinking water to help them use less water, as it is a hauled water site, and those who are not used to limiting their showers and other use might find it helpful.
Quipped with a Tesla EV charger on-site for convenient vehicle charging during your stay.
This home is heated by propane, which is expensive. Please lower the temperature when away from the cabin and upon departure.
