Williams Avenue Recreation Center

The room and property were nice and clean. The location was close to the St. Charles streetcar which was great. Staff were extremely nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Muito bom hotel, adorei, voltarei.

The front desk employees and housekeeping staff were great—friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Unfortunately, the condition of the hotel and the lack of privacy took away from our stay. The women in the room next door were loud, and we could hear their entire conversations. The sound seemed to come through the connecting door, though thin walls may have contributed. We felt we had no privacy, and guests should not be able to hear one another so clearly. We could also hear the elevator motor every time the elevator was used. The patio furniture was rusted, and our room had a faint mildew smell. Additionally, the lobby smelled like gas throughout Friday, which was concerning. I appreciate the staff’s excellent service, but the noise, odors, and maintenance issues need attention. These issues made it difficult to feel comfortable and relaxed during our stay.
