"One of my favourite hotels I've ever stayed at! Very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful and clean rooms, and great food. If you have coeliac disease, I highly recommend staying here, as they were very aware of safety. Everything was in a separate frier, etc. Every staff member I spoke to was so friendly."

"Disappointing. On arrival to the room, there was a distinct musty smell. Not pleasant and still present after opening the windows. No WiFi in the room. Breakfast was almost non existent. For a pub/hotel that promotes its food service and quality, a couple of boxes of cereal and a few miniature pastries was not what was expected or advised. When I asked where the room was, the person at reception just waved vaguely to the right & said ‘it’s down there’. "Good sized room and bed. Very hot and stuffy on entry. Tried the air con control panel but it was switched off. (In a heatwave in june?) Turned on unit at the mains and room cooled until early hours of the morning when I heard water splashing on the carpet from the ac unit.- Noticeable amount of water pouring from unit-So turned it off again. Also found bathroom door wouldn't shut. Personally I prefer to use the bathroom in private and not have the door swing open to full view of the...
